Re: Potential Uncensored Graphics hack?
Update: I was kinda in over my head in the hex editing and etc. I have a friend who works in the tech industry, and I got them and some of their co-workers tried to figure it out too. But even they were stumped. I don't wanna say I've given up (I still have a few ideas) but I doubt will be able to c...

Re: Ghaleon Cosplay
Thanks, Nobiyuki77, and HiroOne! And HiroOne, please share if you ever finish the Hiro cosplay! As for me, I am considering (after redoing the bandages) starting a "Dear Ghaleon" vlog, where people can comment and ask me stuff in character (ie in cosplay, and in my imitation-Truitt voice.)...

Re: Ghaleon Cosplay
Over a year later, I've uploaded a new video of some randomness as Ghaleon at Castle Point Anime Convention (where I also had the pleasure of meeting fellow board member, HiroOne.) The shoulder armor was too big to bring on the train, unfortunately.

Re: magic or technology?
Except...The Grindery was powered by a Steam Engine (technology) on SEGA CD, but in the Remakes it's power came from by Dragon Energy (magic, or even Magitek if any of you are familiar with FF6.)

Re: What changes would you love to see in another remake?
I know he kills Quark. And did I read somewhere that he sends some minions to kill Alex's parents? That seems like a better reason to take him down. Your first point is correct, however as for your second: They don't die. They get enslaved (along with all of Burg), but you free them later on. Vile ...

Re: Lunar & Grandia on Steam SOON!!
I REALLY want it to be the SEGA CD version of L1, with original voices, and Mac OSX support. The Mac part in particular I sadly doubt, but one can dream. SEGA CD edition of L1 was on the survey mentioned (and the the PSP cast had a completely different script), so it is possible...not likely but pos...

Re: Potential Uncensored Graphics hack?
Hex Workshop is good for turning off the caps lock. I tied to post a picture, but kept getting errors, even after I resized it to be less than 256 KB. I still need to figure out how to figure out how to uncensor the sprites though, with Hex Workshop or another program. I make no guarantees that the ...

Re: Potential Uncensored Graphics hack?
Meanwhile, ON topic... http://www.nhl94.com/html/editing/edit_iso.php The best I can say is study this and see what you can pick up from it. If NHL '94 on Sega CD can be edited then I see no reason any of the others can't be. Get a program called Hex Workshop and hopefully you'll be able to make pr...

Re: Potential Uncensored Graphics hack?
Hadn't noticed anything with Xenobia's sprite before, but can tell you that the pentacle removal from EB was a Sega of America thing. Hence why the PlayStation version has them; SCEA didn't care. While I don't think much of the topic being used as an excuse to ridicule people with different opinion...

Re: Potential Uncensored Graphics hack?
Totally unrelated. Great Ghaleon armor. THANK YOU! Someone on this forums finally acknowledges it! (I say finally cause I made a topic earlier this year but got no responses.) I'm actually in the process of redoing part of it and now have longer ears that don't get lost in my wig. Anyway, hopefully...

Re: Potential Uncensored Graphics hack?
Censorship sucks. I go out of my way to make sure the version of OoT I'm playing has the "offensive" chanting in the Fire Temple. I'm trying to find images of Xenobia's boss form in the Japanese version but nothing is coming up. Can you upload any? I'm aware of the removal of the pentagra...

Potential Uncensored Graphics hack?
Would anyone know how to edit the English versions of TSS/EB to remove the graphical censorship? Eg the pentagrams, Xenobia's boss form, etc. Props to you if you have any idea to make the text NOT IN CAPS LOCK but the removing graphical censorship is what I'm really interested in. There is a similar...

Re: Lunar iOS no longer available
@Alunissage Oh I never knew iOS version had Japanese voices too. I have only heard a few of the Japanese cutscenes on Youtube, but generally they are well voiced. For Ghaleon specifically, the one I like more was Rokuro Naya, partly because his voice sounded more like John Truitt than Kiyoyuki Yanad...

A lot lately, exemplary standouts were Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, Mahwaru Penguindrum, and the Record of Lodoss War OVA.

Re: Lunar iOS no longer available
Isn't the iOS version like the PSP one instead of the PS1 version? I never bought it but from what I've read online it has the PS1 graphics with the PSP voice acting. I like the isometric design on PSP, but love the original (SEGA CD/PS1) voices more. To be fair the iOS version DOES have the PSP re...

Lunar iOS no longer available [UPDATE: it's back now]
http://toucharcade.com/2015/08/18/lunar-silver-star-story-touch-and-vay-pulled/ I checked and Vay *IS* still available, that part is incorrect as of this writing. But no Lunar. I'm more fond of the SEGA CD/PSP (and currently playing the PS1 version) versions of L1, but still I wonder what happened? ...

Re: TSS audio in videos
I'm playing this on Gens and when a video starts, there are a couple seconds of silence before the talking starts and the mouth movements are out of sync. The video runs through it's duration but the audio gets cut off equal to the amount of delay before the sound starts. What's going on? Anyone el...
