Re: Anime Conventions
If anyone's going to AnimeNEXT this coming weekend, I will (weather permitting) be Ghaleon's final boss form from the remakes on Friday. I say weather permitting because the current predicted high temperature is 92 F, so I'm not entirely sure I want to wear that costume if it really is that hot...

Re: Last Anime?
I recently watched Shamanic Princess. Only 6 episodes long, but really good. It's a nice pre-CGI fantasy anime that actually doesn't take place in a Japanese high school, which is one anime cliche I'm quite sick of. Also I finished Code Geass R2. In the end, I still love Lelouch (though towards the ...

Re: Legend of Korra (spoilers allowed, up to the latest epis
Well I really liked the ending. I did not see Korrasami coming, but in retrospect it makes sense, and I like it. Also Varrick is hilarious, though I'm sure you all know that by now

Re: A tiny itty bit of hope!!
To quote an NPC (I think in Nanza?) out of context in the SEGA CD version of Lunar 1, the chances of Lunar 2 getting another remake are "ARE ABOUT AS GOOD AS GHALEON TURNING INTO A SPRY LEPRECHAUN AND DANCING OFF INTO THE SUNSET..." To be satirical, GameArts has no idea what Eternal Blue i...

Re: Which Opening is better- TSS or SSSC?
I like the TSS version all the way, its just such an awesome pop-rock song that gets you pumped for the game. The SSH/SSSC versions are melodic, but a tad boring especially when compared with the original.

Re: Last Anime?
Princess Kaguya by Studio Ghibli is, like almost every Ghibli film, a masterpiece. This one in particular is like a watching moving traditional Japanese painting. Also watching Code Geass R2 (finished season 1 awhile ago.) I <3 Lelouch. At least so far, as from what I hear he gets less likable towar...

Re: What's your most anticipated game this holiday season?
The only BioWare games I've played and completed were the Star Wars: KotOR ones. Oh gods, I LOVE KOTOR! My first two rpgs! It's a shame we'll probably never see a real KOTOR 3 (the mmo wasn't my type of battle gameplay.) Anyway, to answer your question, this holiday season I am awaiting Cosmic Star...

Dragon Force (Sega Saturn game, NOT the band), in which I'm currently playing as Queen Teiris of the Elves. Also Replaying Chrono Trigger (PSone classic) and The Journeyman Project 3: Legacy of Time (Mac OSX port.)

Re: Legend of Korra (spoilers allowed, up to the latest epis
So what do you all think of Book 4 so far? I sort of like Kuvira, but Red Lotus were better IMO. Amon, Unalaq, and Kuvira all wanted/want absolute power, but the Red Lotus wanted to destroy political power itself, which was a nice change. Also, I'm not as into Korra this season so far. When the show...

Re: Legend of Korra (spoilers allowed, up to the latest epis
Anyone watch Book 3? I liked it better than book 2, as Korra wasn't moody for no reason, and there were fewer plotholes. Not to mention the Red Lotus had some redeeming features.

Re: What Are You Currently Playing?
I recently beat Shining: The Holy Ark on my Saturn. Good game, although despite great dungeon crawling gameplay, great presentation, and a good (but cliche) story, the characters were severely underdeveloped (it felt like a whole party of silent protagonists.) Now on to Shining Force III (Saturn-all...

Samurai Champloo. I'm really not into hip-hop, but I do love old Japan (and don't mind historical inaccuracies if said media works as a narrative.) So yeah, 'twas pretty awesome.

Re: Human Nall?
It's been quite some years since I've played both Sega CD and PS1 Eternal Blue. However if my memory serves me correctly I'm 99% sure that the reason why Nall chooses a human form is to elude discovery by Ghaleon and Zophar - I actually believe for sure in the Nall flashback in the Eternal Blue rem...

Re: Final Fantasy VI - iOS
It's not the same without Ted Woolsey's translation. I don't care if he was inaccurate at times, I have read some of a literally translated FF6 script, and Kefka owes his sadistic sense of humor to Woolsey. In the Japanese version, Kefka spoke with a Kansai accent, and threw tantrums. Most if not al...

Human Nall?
I just don't get why and how Nall takes human form in EBC. It's never explained how, he just has the ability to do it, even though no dragon in TSS/SSH did that. So what reason does he have to take human form? I believe some of the orphans in his care even say they've seen his dragon form (they may ...
