Re: Best Console Generation For RPGs?
I would probably cast a vote for Phantasy Star 2 as the best of the series. I really liked 1 and 4 as well. Although 3 would be my last pick, I still enjoyed it. I agree with Old_School that the ability to play through several generations of characters was quite unique.

Re: Royce, Phacia and Laike voices!!
Yeah, if I had to pick the worst of these three voices it would be Royce. But overall, I don't think her voice is that bad. If history repeats itself she will have one of the most insignificant roles in the game anyway.

Re: Anyone have any new year resolutions?
Sorry to bring back an old topic, but this is usually the time of year that everyone forgets they even made resolutions. So I figured I would bring it up for the last time just to see where people are at and to keep people motivated. I am happy to report that this is my 43rd day as a non-smoker.

Re: What Are You Currently Playing?
That's an awesome game. My favorite was the 2nd one personally. I need to replay them...Ted kicked butt. I think a lot of people like the second game the best. I am inclined to agree with you because the second game takes almost everything that is great about the first game and improves upon it. Ho...

Re: Royce, Phacia and Laike voices!!
I think these voices sound quite fitting. I would say that Phacia's voice is better than it was in SSSC.

Re: Best Console Generation For RPGs?
I know some people disagree with me, but Final Fantasy died for me after FFX. It just isn't the same. My sentiments exactly. Some old school gamers would argue that it died after VI, but I don't go that far. I really enjoyed VII-X as well. They were different than the originals, but excellent. X st...

Re: What Are You Currently Playing?
Nothing at the moment, but I was playing the original Suikoden about a week ago. I am trying to get my wife to play it. So far she got to the village of Kaku and wants to stop playing. I've been trying to convince her that the game is about to get a lot better without giving away the fact that she ...

Re: Best Console Generation For RPGs?
My journey with RPGs started on the Sega Master System with Phantasy Star 1 back in 1988. I was only six years old at the time, so at first I just watched my older brother play the game and gave him ideas that he pretended were useful. I think the 8 bit generation laid down the framework for great R...

I am still amused by SilentApprovalRobot. But I get the feeling that he/she may start annoying me soon. Are you ever going to break the silence S.A.R.?

Phantasy Star 1, 2, and 4 are always at the top of my list. So are Suikoden 1 and 2. Dragon Force is solid.

Welcome aboard the Lunar Express, where you can say things like "I lost some HP, can I buy some herb?" and it won't land you in the slammer.

Yeah dude, I wouldn't call that fragile. I would just expect a screen to crack if it were stepped on.
