One of the worst star wars films. My 5 year old didn't even like it and he liked the force awakens

I'm interested in hearing your answer but mine is the following: New lunar news That's it. However god damn is this forum toxic. You (and you guys collectively know who you are) have single handedly destroyed this community. Harsh on newcomers. Soapboxing about things that have nothing to do with Lu...

Re: We need more fans.

1) "Lunar in name only," i.e., a cheap cash-in. Oh you mean like Lunar on Gameboy Advanced Lunar Dragon Song Lunar on PC Lunar on iOS Lunar on PSP all we have had are cheap cash ins. As for the fanboyish feeling a game can have well thats why you need a new story and a new idea. All the o...

Re: We need more fans.

Victor Ireland strikes me as a clear choice to help collaborate on developing a new Lunar in America. I don't think he has ever made a game from scratch, but if this were to happen I would love for Victor Ireland to be involved in the script and the story. There really isn't any reason for to have t...

Re: We need more fans.

What Lunar needs more than fans is for it not to be owned by Game Arts. I'm secretly hoping Game Arts will go belly up. Then someone else can swoop in and buy the IP and do what they want with it. Game Arts helped ruin the franchise with all their get rich quick schemes. They should have progressed ...

Re: Pier Solar and the Great Architects

I bought it for the Wii U and I found it to be an okay game. The nostalgia and novelty aspect of it was one of it's strongest suits. I found that the Characters and even the world created were not particularly interesting, but not off putting. It just lacks the charm that the classics in the genre c...

Re: A single Lunar Coin.

Is this official merchandise? Or did some fan make this?

I was hoping to see something that mentioned Silver. But all it mentions is Magic Guild Gold coin? What is that? I'm interesting in buying it if I knew what type of metal it is cased in. I want to buy it if I know I can clean it.

Re: Post your Lunar Fan Art Requests here!

I have always wanted to see a few things 1) Alex's Funeral 2) Hiro & Co. at the snow village fighting the snow boss thing...It always made me laugh that they wore their usual clothing in a blizzard. 3) Riding on one of the sand ships. 4) Dameon's library? 5) Pentagula before it was destroyed

Re: Lunar was released in the USA 20 years ago as of this mo

Lets see 1993 I was 6. I still remember sitting down with my dad while he would play and I would watch. I also remember the manual for the Sega CD version having Alex and Luna on the back (I think). Anyway they were kissing and I had to just ask my mom why one morning while I was eating cereal. The ...

Re: Disappointed in the majority of gamers

Part of the problem is that a lot of what makes art great is an investment of time and the ability to understand things. How hard is it to engage in some sort of animalistic urge to go around in GTAV and kill anyone you want? I blame the dumbing down of the culture (YOLO, SWAG, Hipsters, etc). I thi...

Re: Lunar2 Ruining all other games for life?

I agree with you to a degree. Lunar set the bar for me. It established a standard for thematic presentation. It showed me that tiny things like reading books off shelves really add a dimension to the experience. So it has soured me on my different JRPGs. I get bored easily with games that have bad t...

Re: Let's dream!

I think it's possible. I did a quick look at Game Arts' website. They don't have anything going on besides Ragnarok Oddessy on the PSVita, and Dukuro. (chances are they'll make an entirely new game unrelated to lunar before they make another one) If they make a new Lunar I'm sure XSeed will localize...

I envy you. The pleasure I had playing Suikoden II the first time was only comparable to the first time I played Lunar 1 or 2. Suikoden II is such a great experience especially if you beat the first one and have found everyone to recruit. Then bring your save file over. There is a very special secre...

A cat with wings...

I saw this post on reddit and immediately thought of Nall or Ruby.

Apparently it's a mutation in which the cat can controll it's "wings" but not fly.

Re: Lunar Touch for iOS releasing this week.

My mistake I misunderstood the default screen when tapping on a character.

But I might be having a related problem. When talking to anyone/thing it seems to double tap. Meaning I skip the first page of dialogue.

Re: Lunar Touch for iOS releasing this week.

I just got it for my iPad. Voices and music are from the PSP

Some buttons are redundant like adjust on the party formations.

Sad to say I am genuinely dissapointed in the quality of the interface. Everything clashes. Animation is choppy while moving around town and battling.
