Re: Lunatic Parade Translations?
I know this topic is REALLY old, but I'd be very interested in reading translations for the drama tracks (Lunatic Parade in particular, but I'll take anything) if anyone is still planning on doing them. My Japanese is unfortunately not very good at all or else I'd do it myself! At the most I can get...

Re: Silver Star Story being remade for PSP
Honestly, if GaijinWorks/Vic doesn't have anything to do with the localization (and it's looking more like XSEED after seeing that RPGamer interview) I only ask that whoever does the localization at least makes sure John Truitt does Ghaleon. I can overlook any other voice actors, translation things...

Re: Silver Star Story being remade for PSP
After taking a closer look, I think they updated the graphics more than just "a bit".
I'm excited. And I don't even have a PSP. Mostly because maybe this means they'll make more Lunar games in the future?

Re: Meeting Hideo Kojima EDIT: Now with pic spam
I've never even played a Metal Gear game before but I've always wanted to. But there are a lot of games so I just wouldn't have any idea where to start...and then there's the issue of actually finding them. SIGH.

Re: Is it just me, or are RPGs (J and W) these days just a whole
This topic reminded me of Dragon Quest VIII. I have a love-hate relationship with that game's "world map". I don't know if you've played it or not, but it doesn't actually have one in the sense that your character becomes miniaturized and you walk around it to get from town to town in an o...

Yep. I beat the game though. I'm going to go through it once more, this time via Claude's scenario, and do any extras or special secret stuff I didn't do on my first playthrough.Omega wrote:You mean the two pyromaniacs on the way up to the ringleader?

Right now I'm playing Star Ocean: The Second Story--yes, for the first time. I'm really loving it so far.

Re: Who'd be better? In your Opinion
Obviously, the same people who worked on the SegaCD Lunars and their remakes would be the best people to work on a new Lunar. Sadly, I'm not sure how possible that is anymore.

Yeah, the only thing that's kept me from buying a 360 all this time is that I'm afraid it'll die on me after a month. :/ Free replacement or not, it's unsettling.

That sounds like a fun con. Did you see any Lunar cosplayers? I've only ever seen a Lucia, one year, at a con in my area.

Re: Where would you live?
I'd want live in Vane during both the TSS/SSSC and EB/EBC timelines. I'd get to study magic and read a ton of books. Plus, it's pretty.
Of course, if I had no magical talent whatsoever I would have to live somewhere else. If that was the case then I'd probably try Meribia.

Re: Neighbor indicted over MySpace suicide girl
I'm not sure how this discussion went from being about suicide to being about rape, but... I don't agree with the act of suicide. I'm not sure I would call it cowardly or selfish, but I believe that life is always worth living, both for yourself and for your loved ones. I hate to bring starving chil...

Re: Lunar SSSC Dating Sim Game
Harvest Moon is kinda like a dating sim, in a way, and it has no H. And it's a damn fun series. I guess a Lunar dating sim could be fun, but I think it would have to have the TSS and EB characters in it. Screw canon, it can be an AU thing. Because honestly? Not many would play it if you were only ab...

I went to Akihabara and didn't see any Lunar stuff. However, I wasn't there for very long so if you're able to stay for awhile and dig deep you might find something.

Re: Favorite Cut-scene
It's hard to choose, but Vane Against the Grindery (I don't know the "official" name of it) is one of my favorites. I also like the scene when they're about to crash in the air balloon. Oddly enough, I used to love the opening movie when I was younger but now I dislike it. Visually it's gr...

Re: So, how did everyone discover Lunar?
My older brother bought SSSC back when it came out, and since he still lived with us then I saw him playing it. I thought it looked fun, so eventually I started my own game file and was hooked ever since.
Man, it's been awhile since I posted here.
