Well, with games using 3D models rather than sprites, the need for sprites has gone down some, but they're still out there. There're spriting boards out there, though, with lots of people making lots of cool stuff. It took me forever to be able to sprite and draw as well on the computer as I do now....

Yeah, she's from scratch. And her awesome hair is one of my reasons for being obsessed with her. I have like 4 or 5 other sprites of her floating around in my photobucket somewhere. XD

Pixel Art Doo-Hickey

Yeah, so... I sprite a lil bit in my spare time, and I decided to give pixel art-ing a shot. So... yeah. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v127/Pitch_EXE/yunapixelart4.gif This is Yuna. She's from a game called MegaMan Legends 2. And this pixel art was based off of this official artwork(which is obv...

Yeah, DEFINITELY don't get discouraged when you see other people making really good stuff. Seriously that set me back for a long time. And shoot, my stuff still isn't even that good. Don't get discouraged. If it's something you want to do, do it. Ya know, like enjoy it and stuff. "Enjoy your ac...

I'm not very artistically inclined either. But man have I come a long way since my days of drawing nothing but stick figures. My art still sucks, but I try and it shows. lol. I'd say that the key is not to quit doing whatever you're doing until you're done. Things have a way of working out for thems...

I wonder if I hadn't asked about vectors if anyone would've posted here. lol

I went 'n read all about vector graphics after GhaleonOne explained 'em a little. So yeah. I got it. But thanks for explaining it. Lot easier to understand than what I read.

That's okay, I should've learned about vectors ages ago. Paint Shop Pro is fairly inexpensive software I think.. I wanna say you can get it for about $80. It's pretty neat.

... o.o

Yeah, I really didn't get anything you said there. But, I drew it on paper, outlined it in Paint, then colored it in Paint Shop Pro 7.

Glad you like it though! ^-^

Wow. I must say looking at all this stuff here there are some talented artists here. ;) I'm not nearly as good as that, but I think this little chibi(well it's kinda big actually) isn't too terrible. I hope this's the right place to put it. Well, <center> http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v127/Pitch...

Wow. Really? That's interesting. Hahah, I wasn't even really serious - I think even 2-3 minutes is too short, but if you say so. that's good to know. :)

And so few people see the kinda irony in the ending(the movie ending anyway). lol It's kinda that 'back to the norm' idea. Plus in the beginning of the movie in the (disgustingly perverted) hospital scene, Shinji was begging Asuka to "Call me a fool, just like every other day!"(<something ...

Okay, a lot of people have beef with the show's ending. The sad truth is that they ran out of funding, so they clipped together that episode to represent what they really wanted to do. The movie (I'm assuming we're talking about "The End of Evangelion" and not "Death & Rebirth&qu...

On the surface perhaps the ending is less than satisfying. Certainly not very climatic, but that's why the movie is there. And it's certainly very climatic. I honestly don't see why people don't like the movie's ending. o.O

Anyone care to explain?

My name goes back like half a decade. There're actually two stories behind my name, and I'm no longer sure which one came first... >_< I'll just say the first cuz it's a lot less nerdy. Yeah, so ya ever sign up for something online where you need to fill out your name and all that crap? My first was definitely Mario Bros/Duck Hunt. My dad 'n I played that a lot on his NES. I'm told that I was playing it when I was two. lol. And yeah, as I got older, I'd get a few games everynow and then; ya know, birthdays and holidays and stuff. Not sure what the first game I ever owned was, becau...

I've had a DS since launch actually. I got it for Metroid Prime Hunters - which was unfortunately delayed; I don't regret buying a DS early though, as other games have more than kept my attention. I wasn't even into Lunar when I got a DS, but now that I'm addicted I'm most definitely getting Dragon ...
