Well, it is good to see at least one positive review on the game. However, unless IGN (and possibly a few other reviews) claim that this game is godly... I might not get it, at least for now. There have been plenty of negative opinions regarding this game ever since the first review, and seeing as m...

I don't understand how they can give it a 6.5, and yet, still claim it is above average. This is like the only game EVER that has truely confused me with the way the review for it was written. Regardless, the reviewer didn't seem to hate the game. He just seemed irked about a lot of seemingly pointl...

There will likely be a bunch of reviews coming our for the game by Monday. The NP reviews are often inaccurate, so I'm pretty confident the game will get an overall good score. I'll probably end up getting it, but I have a feeling a few of you guys, who already know much of this series... might be a...

Agreed. I hope for the best for Texas. The problem is, the situation looks bleak. Plus, it won't only be Texas that suffers for this. It will be the entire country. Hurricane Rita is likely going to strike practically all of the oil refineries in Texas. They will likely be destroyed under the harsh ...

I agree, there seems to be a discrepency in what exactly the score means. For most scoring methods that I have seen, a method similar to school is seen. For example... scores: 10 - Great score. Given to exceptionally good games. 9 - Nice Score. Given to good games, that have some minor flaws that do...

A seven isn't that bad, but it does make me wonder about even bothering to get the game. I'm kind of strapped for money at the moment, so spending money on a game that isn't even above average may not be a wise plan.

I suppose I'll wait for some more reviews...

So another person has seen monster? I have to admit, the beginning was REALLY boring to me. Once I got in to it though, I found it to be a very suspenseful and interesting anime. Definitely an anime worth looking in to, especially if you're in to Psychological/Action/Suspense type shows. 8)

The 27th? That is strange, I could have sworn that I heard that the release date was the twentieth. I guess I'll just assume my guess is wrong then (good things tend to come later rather than sooner... ) Anyway, while most of you around these forums already seem to be addicted to this series; this i...

1.) Chrono Trigger (I'm sure many will disagree) 2.) Seiken Densetsu 3 (A GREAT import, in my opinion. Wish it was released here.) 3.) Final Fantasy 3(6) (classic) 4.) Secret of Mana (Nice game, pretty similar to SD3... as it is SD3's prequel.) 5.) SSB Series (Sorry, I couldn't avoid putting this up...

Facial hair? Heh... that's kinda funny. Not shaving for one week gives me a full beard. If I didn't shave for a month I'd probably have something not too different from Gandalf's beard.

Heh... that being the case, I most certainly am ultra-manly.

You are correct about Janus, actually. He was what some might call a "brat". He was spoiled, though ignored by many due to Schala's status. He wasn't exactly old when he got teleported off to 600 A.D. either. You then have to consider, that despite being so young... he was given considerable power, ...

Turned the introduction in to a Magus discussion, eh? I don't mind much I guess. Magus is one of the first few "bad" good guys, he breaks the common stereotype of mages being physically weak, and he has a pretty deep storyline... actually. If you don't look in to it much, then your assumptions would...

The Apocalypse is Here!

Hello everybody. Wherever I might venture, I am known as Apocalypse. I am an RPG Junkie ever since I played my first one on the SNES (Super Mario RPG), and have played a pretty large deal of RPGs. What can I say, 'tis my favorite genre. Of course, it is my unfortunate situation to have a system wit...

It really isn't a "dating RPG". I was meant that that was a common misconception with this particular game. The whole "relationship thing" works similarly to the one seen in ToS. It is more of a matter of how much you are friends with the character. I really haven't seen any big references to roman...

Hmmmm... Nintendogs just isn't my kind of game. I have MANY pets in real life, so having a pet simulator is sort of pointless for me. I do think Advance Wars is a series with some merit, but then again, I like games with good storyline. While Advance Wars obviously has good strategic value, it just...

Hmmmm... Riviera: The Promised land was a pretty good RPG. Not mind-blowingly good, but it was enjoyable. I think the game got a bad reputation from some of the reviewers and the ESRB rating system though. First off, there really isn't a reference to sexuality in the game, nor is there any reference...
