Re: THIS is what I want Lunar 3 to look like!
Although, as pretty as Eternal Sonata is and as good a template as it might be for Lunar 3, I still have a feeling that the Grandia games might be more likely to show the direction (from a technical standpoint, at least) of what any future Lunar games are like. Accounting for differences in technolo...

Re: Ys for DS in Engish!!!
That should be pretty cool. I've been wanting to check out more of the Ys games ever seeing the Falcom panel back at Otakon.

You know, personally, I consider all of those characters to be "main" characters.

Package deal in my case. The spousal overunit needs Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign at the very least (and Dreamweaver would also be helpful for her).

Re: Mac laptops...
Yeah, I was pretty sure there was a button to press, but it would still be easier to have a right click. That's really my only complaint though. I'm quite happy with the laptop. I'm just debating on getting CS3 now, or waiting for CS4. I hear CS4 is coming out either late this month or early next m...

Re: Mac laptops...
I've finally started training myself to Mac shortcuts (I don't know how many times I tried to press Ctrl-C and Ctrl-A). The only real complaint I have is only having one mouse button. That and no touch-scroller on the touch-pad like on most Windows-powered laptops, but I plan on getting a USB-mouse...

Mysterious new Sega RPG
Very little is known about it -- no idea even what system's it's for or what it's about. However, it does apparently have something to do with dragons... http://dragon.sega.jp/ http://dragon.sega.jp/swf/teaser.swf That teaser doesn't help much. About all I could deduce from it is that some sort of f...

Re: So I just got myself a PS3
I've had a PS3 since Christmas and I haven't really found any PS3 games worth having. Then again, I'm pretty picky when it comes to newer games. I really wish they'd release some PS classics on the PSN. You should probably try out Bionic Commando:ReArmed then (free demo download on PSN, the whole g...

Re: Lunar Cosplay
FYI, first place in the "Craftsman" division of Otakon's hall costume contest this year was someone dressed as Luna.
Also, a Nall (I'm assuming it's Lunar's Nall and not some other random Nall) costume won a Judge's award on Saturday

Never mind how she has to deal with her abstinence-only education stance while having a pregnant teenage daughter (wow, abstinence-only actually does work! :P). Believe me, I laughed so friggen hard when I heard that. Our school actually enforced abstinence eductation, but also supported it with sa...

I think he's trying to pick someone with a tough image (since everything is tougher in Alaska) that's... well, young. Palin appeals to social conservatives, and she looks like she balances the ticket against McCain. She's also green enough to have no dirt on her. ...then again, she's also green eno...

Re: Xbox 360 cheaper; must buy with Halo 3!
See, VHSs lasted for nearly 30 years (or so) while DVDs have only been out for, what, 10 - 12 years? Already they are being phased out, so I am leary in upgrading to the newest media (which will have to happen as DVDs get phased out) when that'll likely be replaced by Red Ray and HHDDWDDBVD (curtou...

Re: Xbox 360 cheaper; must buy with Halo 3!
Yeah, Blu Ray players are backwards compatible (at least the PS3 is -- I'd be surprised if other ones weren't) with standard DVDs and CDs. I understand where you're coming from too -- I don't plan to replace any of my DVDs with Blu Rays unless I happen to come across them in a "bargain bin"...

Re: Xbox 360 cheaper; must buy with Halo 3!
Haven't tried any Blu Ray stuff yet (don't own any BluRay disks either, but it was time to replace my regular DVD player). It does do a very good job of upscaling regular DVDs, though. As far as the TV I use it with, it's a 52" Samsung LN52A650.
