Re: Eid Mubarak! / !عيد مبارك
Hope you had a very happy Eid. I can't help but feel sorry for any Muslims living anywhere north of the Arctic Circle this year though... I kid, I kid... Oh that is tough actually, but Muslims that far North don't fast on a purely daylight-based schedule. There are various fatawa (plural of fatwa, ...

Portuguese has a lot of rolled R's too... even my last name has them... and I still can't quite do it unless I overdo it on purpose...

How about you implement a Grandia-like battle system for your game then. j/kPunisher699 wrote:Sorry guys , but this is not a grandia topic .

Re: Lunar The Last Hope
Grandia II was just incredible and if my memory serves me right I believe GameArts was the dev. I'd bet my left HOHAH that they considered Lunar's battle system during the talk in development. Grandia I and II were both developed Game Arts. Grandia II's battle system was basically a refined version...

Re: Lunar The Last Hope
Good idea and looks nice but just remember how Lunar legend was and the dreaded Dragon Song. Its just not Lunar without the battle system. Thats why I loved Grandia II so much. It felt like it was Lunar. Do what you can to reproduce the range it should be in it....NAY it must be in it. Also any fly...

Re: Jenner & Kaiser - Wedding Pics
I'll need to check out the rest of the pictures when I can... but they look really cool. Some of the stuff resembles a wedding I attended in Maharashtra, India a few years back. Probably isn't that surprising given the geographic proximity and historical ties between Bangladesh and India. Of course,...

Re: Gaming Stores
We've had Game Xchanges here in Wichita since at least 1999. Way back then me and my buddy went in there a lot. We knew an employee who used to get us good deals and let us know when rare stuff came in that we would want. Sadly, I haven't been in a game store in probably 5-6 years at this point. I ...

Re: Gaming Stores
Generally, I'll only go to a gaming store if I happen to already be in the mall/shopping center/etc., and want to browse the used game selection for the random bargain diamond in the rough that I may have missed. Typically it's a case where I'm with my spousal overunit and she wants to go shop for s...

Re: Hey everyone! :)
The saving feature of the EBC soundtrack is that it has the Star Dragon Theme, which WD was unable to add to the game itself. It's still one of my favorite pieces of Lunar music, despite being the only one composed on this side of the pond. Very true... and it actually sounds faithful to the origin...

Re: Hey everyone! :)
Speaking of the sound on the PSX version of EBC... What the heck did WD do when they put together the EBC soundtrack CD?! The music there sounds like total crap! Granted, the PSX version doesn't sound as crisp as the Saturn version, but looking at youtube videos of EBC gameplay, it sounds much, much...

Not a bad price, I think... It looks like some stuff was changed (the way in-game text is displayed, etc.). My one question is what about the voices and such?
