Okay, first off lets try NOT start another damn platform war okay? =p We're not twelve year olds, dude Most of us have been at this long enough to have a civilized discussion on the topic. We got out console flames out of our systems during the 90's. I wouldn't say that's entirely a bad thing when ...

I'd seriously disagree with that notion myself. The dual touch screen system is hella innovative. And the Revolution looks to follow suit. If anything, what has Sony and Microsoft done that's been innovative. Other than add in non-gaming additions such as DVD playback? The only thing innovative has...

Never mind the fact that movies and books are entirely different media. So much so that "the book was better" completely invalidates anyone's review of the movie. Unless you realistically expect someone to make a 29-hour long movie that looks exactly like everyone pictured in their heads. KF Exactl...

I don't want to get in the middle of this, but on a quick emulator note, Gens gets a lot of attention as one of the best Sega CD emulators around, but you might also want to try Kega Fusion which emulates Sega's Master System, Genesis, Sega CD, 32X, and 32X CD. Just get the bios files, and rock bot...

I don't ge tthe argument about how the series felt complete after ebc, it ends on a cliffhangar. They're waiting to repopulate earth, obviously there is a necessary conclusive third act to the story. Like any drama in the first act you introduce the world in the second act you establish what the co...

So...your reaction is mainly because your game preference is different from that of the poster? Because you didn't really provide evidence for not preferring the originals until this post, and saying you "hated the damn points system" seems at least as strong as what you were criticizing him for. S...

Well, it sounds like he's played them all and has formed his opinion, to which he is entitled. I would say that EBC not having the magic experience or interesting dungeons diluted it considerably for me, not at all the same thing as EB. SSSC had weaker music and magic, in addition to the storyline ...

Re: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Poor Scripting...

Yes, I liked the other movies, but wasn't really impressed with this latest one. I will definately say that I was expecting more at the end (I haven't read the books) and that it seemed like Harry and Ron had growth spurts and maybe even seemed older than the characters they were portraying. Well, ...

Re: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Poor Scripting...

The music of the movie wasn't anything out of the ordinary and nothing really caught my fancy. Sound effects and other auditory aspects were just okay. The music in the last movie was composed by one Mister John Williams, so IMHO, the music in this movie was a step down no matter what way I looked ...

Well, I just got a new keyboard in time to relay this... Just because it's wrestling and the writing is fake, doesn't mean all aspects of it are. Back in college when WCW was at its height, one of my friends made the best comment when his then current girlfriend asked why we watched wrestling. He turned to her and said, "It's soap opera for men." We all ...

There is still no information on cause of death, but it is still always shocking when something like this happens. I'm not much into wrestling anymore, since all the good stories and writing went away when WCW tanked, but I've kept track of Eddie since he and all the others jumped to WWE. I may not ...

Well, as a few of you know from either speaking with me or my writing on all fronts, I am somewhat of a hopeless romantic. I believe a good story needs a good romance to make it work. That being said, as much as I love all the Lunar characters, I never really felt any personal spark when dealing wit...

There will be a character named Ghaleon in Suikoden 5. Or at least his name is identical to Ghaleon's Japanese name. He is the oldest general of the Queen's knights. If you go to Konami's official site and check the battle screenshots, he's in the party. It's interesting to check them out anyway, s...

I'm sure AC will be good, I haven't seen it yet though. The only thing that dissapointed me was the FF title of Spirits Within. That's the only thing, I fail to see how it was that bad. The animation was very stunning and (at the time) the most realistic. The effects were the only thing good about ...

Not even a contest. I have not even seen AC yet, and I know it's better than that crapfest Spirits Within.

When I first saw it I tried to convince myself it was decent....but it was too bad. I mean....how could that thing even bear the FF title???

AC will be better, no doubt.

I don't think you understand what I mean by "ignore", Roas. I mean staying completely unaware of it. It's not that I'm reading up about them and then forgetting or letting it slide, I'm remaining ignorant -- I have no idea what they've been up to. I've learned that some things get ruined when you l...

I got a Amazon gift certificate for complaining when they hadn't shipped me my Escaflowne DVDs for over a month, heh.
