Yes, a possible pandemic could be looming in the future, but what we are experiencing now is being caused by the stupidity that is mass media blowing everything out of proportion and causing people to unnecessarily freak out. Media these days is so starved for people to constantly pay attention to i...

Just think wild, or outside the box, and write whatever works for you. I wrote a story about a Cyber World and how it's being infested by the evil Dr. PS2 and Sir Xbox. Thankfully, Gamecube (all consoles have arms and legs) was there to save the day....or at least Papa NES, whom was held over a jui...

Most video games are much more immersive than movies. I think I'll be sideing more with Jack Thompson if the Revolution succeeds at what it's trying to do, and game violence ensues without any barriers to protect young innocent minds. Oh, and from the shows I've seen, G4 promotes violence. I wonder...

I'd love to see that. I don't suppose you could track it down and scan it...? heh sorry, can't. 1- the page was given to me way back in 8th grade from another kid. And even if I did have it, I have no access to a scanner I'm sure someone somewhere has old EGM's scanned into torrents or something. M...

Yeah, I once had a picture from an old old old EGM talking about MegaCD. It had a Luna with brown hair.

??? Did you get the MegaCD import where Luna had brown hair? Because I didn't get my TSS copy til it first hit US shores in 1993.

Re: Is there a LUNAR 3?!

Is there a LUNAR 3? People have been waiting for it for FIVE WHOLE YEARS? Heh, news flash, my friend. Lunar existed before Saturn and Playstation. Like Kiz said, many of us have been playing these games since 1993. So try over ten years since the game's conception Then again, I've always been a pro...

That's what this whole thread is about. My opening post is all about how PS3 and 360 games are going to be $60 at launches.

The Tournement of Heroes III in 2006!

For those who may be interested, preparations are now beginning for the annual RP tournement battle that is held at the Shrine to Ghaleon's Battle Board. The first round of details can be found at http://www.sabrecat.net/ghaleon/board/battleboard.mv? Last years teams are still listed on that page fo...

I'm also an avid reader. Probably the only other important thing about me, which doesn't exactly say alot. Where some people own several hundred movies, I own these heavy, clumsy things with words printed in them. So how do I go about gathering interesting for a RPing format? Realtime might be a pr...

You could look at it this way... we used to pay around $60 for certain games back in the SNES/Genesis days. My copy of Phantasy Star IV ran me $99 brand new the day it came out. Except now the costs are for development instead of manufacturing. I remember when I got PS 4. It was a Friday...I saw it...

@ Roas, yes, I agree they're setting atmosphere rather than being strictly literal...though I think some things can still be gathered from them, such as Althena leading several ships to Lunar, not just one. There's an Inca God in TSS and the Goddess Tower has a Greco-Roman air; why not Assyrian the...

Well, then who were they based on? Louie? Guys fighting Zophar? They /don't/ look much like the guys in the Friezes. At least, the helmets and armor styles don't match very well. Honestly, I think they don't relate to anyone in particular. I think there is too much being read into these statues. Th...

Nope, don't think I am. Based on my experiences, anyway. Then share. Back up your statements. I've given some examples from myself, and I can from many other people I know. I need something more than a one liner here if we are gonna debate 1) I don't believe you and 2) That (1) doesn't matter becau...

Well, consider my original point that Hiro didn't need the power of a Dragonmaster to prove himself. Now, by the end of SSS/TSS, Alex, like Laike, had effectively lost his Dragonmaster abilities. Hiro, what he has is all self-driven, nothing divine. So Alex could best Hiro if he still held onto the...

After a discussion with Rune on the Shrine's MB, I can understand many sublte reasons why the price increase may or may not happen.

I still don't like it, but I accept and understand it in the scheme of things.
