Of course. But *come on*! Did you ALWAYS (as a kid) do what was expected of you? No! You're a kid and mischief was your middle name. You, like all kids, I'm sure did things you either a) knew were wrong or b) knew your parents didn't want you to do it. And 95% of kids are like this. As a matter of ...

I don't even see that much of a resemblance. They look more like the figures on the friezes in the opening: m m m m m m m m m Now that is what I call bringing meat to debate Upon seeing hard evidence, those look nothing like possible dragonmasters of old. These seem to be your simple guardian statu...

Welcome. Not much else to add. Been a gamer since the old Turbographix (yes I actually had one!) then the SNES and then my dying PSX to my wonderful though aging computer. Heh, you can't really call the TG16 old. Now if you had been playing Joust, Popeye, and Spelunker on an Atari before the first N...

Now wait just a minute... I don't think it's quite fair to compare each Ghaleon. I mean, TSS Ghaleon was evil, and I figure evil must've clouded his judgment (evil in the "I'm justified in all I do" sense). EB Ghaleon had an entirely different motive, but I always saw him as being much stronger. Pe...

If the Blue Spire can get magic to the Blue Star in the first place, it could conceivably get energy signatures from each Dragonmaster that goes by.

Conceivable, but Alex never went by it in either incarnation of the game.

Sure, it doesn't really matter if you destroy me because I will be back in the next 5,000+ years or so. (Of course then again another band of heroes will pop up and destroy me again).

Oh, some of us have very long life spans...so we'll probably be around for a second swing :D

Guess we should have expected this

But I am still miffed. I was just browsing Gamestop.com, and I decided to check out the games for the next wave of consoles. Well, as some of you might already know, the comfy $40-$50 price range we've had on games for a good many years now...is jumping up to $60 I should not be surprised, but I am....

But, parents do not control everything in their children's lives, and no matter what they do their children will be exposed to violence in videogames (as an example). Parents can't be around kids 100% of the time (and probably shouldn't, either). By talking to the kids prior to possible problems, i...

That may be so, but to say that chilren don't immitate (sp, sorry) what they see on TV on hear in music or play in video games is naive. It happens. I had that view when I was 15 and I have that view now as a 22 year old video game fan. I never said children won't immitate. My point is not naive. M...

As for the Dragon Armor, could you truly envision Jian in it? He's an acrobatic fighter, so mobility is a major issue for him. The armor would've weighed him down. And he's no swordsman, so that would've been wasted on him as well. On top of that, Ignatius also posessed none of the Dragon armaments...

Alex.

He took down Ghaleon, who enslaved a god, and we pretty much get from EB that he could have probably taken Zophar.

Besides, Ghaleon let Hiro and company beat him.

Alex honestly beat him.

then he took on Grandia III, and JAM was left to develop Lunar DS. In fact, with Iwadare not on the project, it makes quite a bit of sense that Iwadare and Shigema were both doing Grandia III and left Lunar DS to JAM's in-house folks. That kinda makes my point about system importance with developin...

I don't have G4, but I've seen enough "specials" on the subject to say they are full of it Without getting myself into a ranting mode (some of you know what that looks like ), I'll just say that anyone who cannot put violence in videogames in its place, or teach their children the difference between...

Well that was said with a lot of venom Your points and feelings are all valid. You, as a long time fan, feel like you have been jipped and sucker punched, and you should probably rightfully feels so. However, I don't think so much acid should be tossed on GA. Hey, every company makes a clunker in a ...

It is used also to collect magic for the restoration of the Blue Star. That was clarified in Eternal Blue. The same scene was axed from the remake, though. KF

Yeah. I totally remember that scene where Lucia gets the stored magic.

I always got the impression, aside from the fact that Lucia could travel using it, that the Blue Spire was used to collect and send magic back to the Blue Star. That makes a lot of sense. I would tend to support such a theory without obvious deterring information. I knew that Star Wars analogy woul...

that would make the Lunar Universe way too small (sort of like Lucas did with Star Wars).

Um....if you take into account the videogames and the entire novel run (all of which are Lucas authorized cannon), that's not quite true.

I know that's an OT response, but the comparisson is not true :)

Point. Personally, I could care less about "mature" games. If a game is fun and happens to play like a cartoon, I'll play it and probably love it. Hence why Zelda Wind Waker is my fave Zelda game. I don't mean that cartoony games cannot be fun. I just feel that Nintendo does not cater to those of u...
