Re: New CT DS content... (major spoilers for new DS content)

Also not liking what I'm hearing about Mystics becoming Fiends. Mystics sounded a lot better to me too. The whole game has been re-translated to be more accurate. What pisses me off is Frog's medieval accent has been removed which I liked. No more "Mayhap a hidden door lurks nigh? Let us searc...

Re: New CT DS content... (major spoilers for new DS content)

Alright I hate to double post but I should give a proper update here... **POSSIBLE SPOILERS** UPDATE: Okay I got my copy this morning and I have to say I'm most impressed. (Though the UPS Man was giving me a look for running out to collect the package from him) First of all the preorder CD is nice. ...

I got mine at GameStop but yeah, I'm not saying it won't be cool, I just expected something more I guess.

Re: New CT DS content... (major spoilers for new DS content)

I can't wait for this, pre-ordered back in August and am really excited. I'm so glad I have Thanksgiving off because this is all I'm going to be doing.

The pre-order bonus kind of sounds like it sucks though...

Re: Hacked

Although I've never had problem with PayPal personally, I've heard a lot bad about it. Yeah I did a little searching and there seems to be a growing community of people who hate Paypal. However some of these places I wouldn't put TOO much stock into. http://www.paypalsucks.com came up right away, b...

Re: Hacked

Paypal has been reluctant to help me out, so once this dispute is resolved, my account will be permanently cancelled. I'm as enthusiastic to use your services Paypal, as you are to help me when I've been screwed. I've now gone directly to Apple support and sent them an email to get this whole proce...

Re: Hacked

Actually I was quoting Chrono Trigger...but I like the speech. I agree you don't need absolute knowledge to do something right. You do need absolute knowledge to KNOW you did something right though. And yes nihilism is quiet. Everything I say including that regarding nihilism is meaningless. But wh...

Re: Hacked

All you are doing is putting a context to different situations. As a modern Christian, I probably would not kill someone who killed someone I love. As a seventeenth-century Italian, I probably would. What changes is not the ethics of the matter, but only our understanding of them in their context, ...

Re: Hacked

Sounds good to me. But then again ethics is debatable as well. I'm Nihilistic generally so I really don't think any action is preferable to another in regard to moral value. It's all about perception. True. Except for a handful of cases (cold blooded murder, for example), ethics are not black and w...

Re: Hacked

In all seriousness I feel it's only illegal once you get caught. Besides hypothetically speaking, if I were to download music/movies/software illegally and liked it, I'd probably go out and buy it. It's always illegal (to use an extreme example, would murder only be illegal if you get caught?), but...

Re: Hacked

I've only ever bought 3 songs total on iTunes because I didn't want to spend $15 on an entire CD for one song I like. Considering the alternative now, it may just be worth it. :( Don't frown. Nobody'll go to bed hungry because you illegally downloaded songs. Yeah but they'll have one less ivory bac...

I liked SSSC better personally, it just seemed to fit better with the game. Not that TSS wasn't good.

And with this post, I hit 5500 posts. Let's do some math. Let's say that every post I made took 1 minute to post. That's 5500 minutes. Or 91 and 2/3rds hours. Or 3.8194 days worth of posts. And when you consider most people like spend more time reading posts than posting, that's ... okay, I need to...

I don't mean to rain on the parade but isn't it Antarctica instead of Antartica?

I got my Lunar 2 EB Saturn Guide today, which by the way is pretty awesome despite the fact all I can do is look at the pretty pictures. Re: So, how did everyone discover Lunar?

My mother had Lunar, Vay, Popful Mail, and all those for the Sega CD. Mine too, I wonder how many RPG mom's are out there? Mom used to play both quite heavily on the Sega CD. She won't touch the PSX versions I have because years of playing video games have screwed up her wrist. (Though she won't st...
