I hate April Fools day...I remember what day it is for the first few hours...then I forget and get suckered. Last year I went to a Hawks-Celtics game in Atlanta with a friend, and they posted some junk during half time how Tom Bradey was traded for Mike Vick...and I fell for it until my friend and I...

I got the fugly top-loading, side-mounted SegaCD2 unit, instead of the beautiful front-loading original model that sat completely under the Genesis. one of the first games I bought of course, was Lunar Dude! what are you smoking! The original unit was a piece of crap! Mine, along with everyone else...

Interesting. If I am getting a good look at the Heresy art and pics in the add...looks like we're getting our 4 Heroes game, my friends. Real question is.....what system will it come out for. Since I don't really wanna buy a DS...I hope it's for an actual console. EDIT- a few seconds later: bleh. fu...

No, that's -Dung Beetle-. Manga is pictures placed into context by the words around them. If you don't understand the words, then you don't know if the picture is supposed to be actual events, a flashback, a dream, or background images to go along with a story that's being told. Nicely put, Kiz. I ...

Does it really matter? My ways are not your ways, nor are my thoughts your thoughts. I specialize in creating fantasy worlds from scratch. That's what I do all day on MUSHes. Facts are just a basis to work with, I let my creativity lead the rest of the way. Now quit trying to change me. You can't. ...

Kiz'd know if he went back to the Blue Star. You don't need any particular skill at translating to look at pictures, and if he saw Lucia at the end of it, it's sort of a clue. A picture may be worth a 1000 words, but you have no idea what those words are without context or background. If you find a...

besides, Lunar: The Silver Star came out in Japan around mid-1992 and that was before the U.S. release of the Sega CD system. the U.S. version of Lunar: The Silver Star came out in 1993. I first read about Lunar myself in an EGM preview. I thought it looked cool, and it was the only RPG I saw for m...

...I told you she was dutybound. And even harsher then I predicted. Perhaps she didn't, much like the Dragons...wish to watch Hiro grow old and die. She has a job to do, and by all that's holy, she's going to do it. I kinda knew you wouldn't be able to get Lucia off the Blue Star with a crowbar. To...

Anyway, back to the subject at hand, I think Ghaleon was more able to take command of her, not just because he was powerful, but he also took control of the some of the dragons before he brought out the goddess in her. Also, even though he brought out the goddess in her, doesn't mean the full power...

'91, eh. I only thought it was 93-94 cuz that is when the guy showed me the article. He'd cut it out of his magazine, so I'd never seen the actual issue.

I ceed to everythinig Kiz has posted, since he brought the meat with solid evidence. In light of this, it does seem that Lucia is tied to the Blue Star in terms of power. But when looking closely at that line from the prologue, here is what I gleam. It feels to me like Althena purposely installed Lu...

Brilliant! Yeah I remember the information from that thread, just not the pictures and specifics. I'm sure someone somewhere has old EGM's scanned into torrents or something. Maybe some bloodhound could track them down for us So is this where your bloodhound pointed? KF It would seem so Course...I'...

Also, there's a couple common sense problems. How does Hiro survive on the Blue Star, anyway? Can Lucia create food? Well, she'd better be able to, or Hiro's going to starve to death in short order, and that's not a very happy ending. How about water? It might've been snowing, but using snow for wa...

Well, the end movie on EBC is evidence enough that the Blue Star has begun to heal itself. In two movies showing the Blue Star, it was a barren and desolat place, and was even described as such. Also, it showed it in a sort of 'nuclear' winter. So, it is implied by showing the so called 'winter' is...

Exactly. The duty of Restoring the Blue Star will LONG LONG outlast Hiro. Whether you go by the original or the remake, Lucia's been in her crystal for thousands of years. And will probably need to be there longer before she's done. Anyways...the ending movie shows Lucia and Hiro on the Blue Star. ...

Not at all. The Blue Star is on the upswing, and the dutybound girl was STILL the same dutybound girl who ditched Hiro at the end of the game to return to her duty. How long does it take to get all the humans off Lunar and to the Blue Star anyway? 50 years? 100? Her task might not be completed in H...

By the way, the EB novels are really good at explaining background things like this. Reading through them now is giving me a lot better grasp on the characterization and motivation of each of the characters. And, a lot of the idea of Lucia being a full-fledged goddess, albeit a very weak one now wh...
