Recently I watched parts of a Lunar SSSC play through and I noticed something near the end. Here's a screenshot I took from this playthrough . I do need to examine those credit pics and things like the balloon fall pic some more. I hadn't picked up on the bloomers. And apparently either they were no longer part of her outfit in SSS or she hadn't put them on yet when dressing in that bromide. I'm pretty sure they nixed the bloomers for SSS...

I do feel SSS shortchanged her a bit, mostly in the sense that it started down the path of really expanding her characterization beyond what it was in TSS, but stopping short of really fleshing it out. Namely, what it felt like she really lacked was an arc, a change -- she's kind of the same person...

I've always found that piece of art interesting (though I wish it weren't quite so big, as it's taking up nearly my entire laptop screen). The opening, in terms of both music and visuals, always made me think of Escaflowne's opening. Makes sense, since both of them are of that 90's style of fantasy that has come and gone. I'd love to see a revival of it.

Incidentally, not clear on whether you knew this already, but Tempest's weapon in TSS is a whip. Dunno why it was changed to a bow in SSSC. I have the Lunar I and II art book, and she does indeed have a whip. I like the idea of her using a whip, since it contrasts nicely with Tempest's archery skil...
