Re: What would be a great English dub cast?

Eh, I'd have to disagree on Johnny Yong Bosch for the role of Alex, though not because he's overused. I happen to love Johnny Yong Bosch; he's overused cause he's effin' good. But, I think his voice is a touch too pushy for Alex' roll as the naive youth., Greg Ayres may be more suited for Lex'.

Re: I'm getting an ocarina

If they DO do the custom paint job, I will totally buy it. Tell them in the e-mail that others are also interested in the custom setup, maybe it will act as an incentive for them to consider it.

Why spend a hundred bucks when you could do THIS?!

...On second thought, go ahead and buy one.

Re: Trigun Movie

Yeah, I've been waiting with eager anticipation for quite a while myself. I'm very excited, looove the series. It looks like it will be good, but it looks like it's just going to be a little side adventure. I would have loved it if they added to the story, like post Knives conflict. But, I'll take w...

Re: Favorite anime

Eh, Kurapica is lame. Hisoka is easily my favorite character too, he's just so damned eeeevil! The calm composed badass character I was referring to relate's to characters like Kamui from X, or Aoshi from Kenshin. They just too awesome to care about anything and they have the skills to back it all up.

Re: MIA; Have you seen these games?

Well, everything was making that transition really. Xenogears for example, brilliant game, but some of the worst 3d graphics out there. It was in an experimental phase, so I can see why you were put off, but you have to give them some form of leniency considering. They progress graphically too, Suik...

Re: MIA; Have you seen these games?

The Suikoden series is the ONLY game series that has rivaled LUNAR in my eyes. It's awesome. Also, if you haven't played Suikoden Tierkreis, while different it's a good addition to the series. Also, Starcraft II is in the makes, should be out sometime next year. A new Chrono game would be brilliant ...

Re: Favorite anime

Geez, I've seen almost everything in this thread and a majority of the series are in my expansive collection... Makes me kind of proud... And also kind of sickened with myself. :P Ah well, I embrace it as my primary nerd obsession. And Shiva, Scrapped Princess? Hell yes. I love that series, the plot...

Re: Favorite anime

I enjoyed Hunter x Hunter, but it wouldn't fall into my favorite spot. I do agree that the character development is phenomenal and the tension is through the roof, but it's difficult to relate to any of the individual characters, which is some of the appeal with a lot of series. Series that don't co...

Re: For Game Collectors

I have a few rare games amongst my collection that I'm pretty proud of. Grant it, I'm a youngling, so my collection began in the PSX era. I have an immaculate copy of Suikoden II that I'm very proud of, along with the rest of the series save for the Suikogaiden text adventures starring Mr. Nash Latj...

Re: New screens showing 4 heros!

I guess I never really looked at Dyne's eyes, but I did always assume he had green eyes because of how Quark addresses Alex. Here's two screens from the SSSC multimedia section, Quark says he has the green eyes, and then says the last time he gazed upon eyes like his was when he met with Dyne. He ma...

I don't know dude. I found it immensely amusing. But, I do have a pretty morbid sense of humor. It might be pushing the line a bit considering how long it took them to reveal it was just a prank, but seeing the guy drop to the floor and shuffle towards the door so he wouldn't get shot? Hilarious. Bu...

I saw this at the midnight premier. Was brilliant. The opening sequence with him listing off the rules? Running in a big circle; rule number one... Cardio. Gooood stuff.

Hmmm... I'm not sure what I think about using bacon to stuff a turkey. I like bacon to be slightly crispy, and I doubt that bacon cooked in such a way would be crispy. I could be wrong, though. Turkey is delicious, though, and should not to be confined to Thanksgiving, sandwiches, and Renaissance f...

So, me and my buddies got together to watch the Vikings game. Amazing btw. But, that's not the point of this thread. So, I'm a big fan of Dir en Grey. They came here on tour a couple times, but unfortunately, I missed them both times. Bummer, I know. If you're unfamilliar with there work, Ill post a link to one of my favorite songs at the end of this post. Anyways, I was bummed out that I missed them, especially s...

Yeah, I have the original on VHS and the Bloodlust DVD in my collection, and I just started collecting the newer manga adaptations. Re: Favorite anime

I never liked Cowboy Bebop although I always enjoyed the universe and the adds. As well as the art. But watching an episode was horrible for me. Blasphemy! Cowboy Bebop was brilliant! It tied the whole bounty hunter life style into an awesome backstory between Spike and Vicious, had a forbidden lov...
