Re: Wirehead is the best game ever.

It's a strong contender.

You fight bears, get into bar fights, and jump out of planes in the first fifteen minutes.

*sighs* Ah yes, Alex's good ol' harp. Lost in the sands of times along with "crystalized" Hiro, the abduction of the people of Burg and mutant Ghaleon.
It's a true man's instrument.

Re: Craziness about Elemental Gearbolt

So I decided to research Tagami's appearance in Shikigami 1.

Sure enough, here (s)he is:

The only way they could have improved it was if Alex was playing a harp instead. :P Nice trailer all the same.

Re: Craziness about Elemental Gearbolt

Tagami is in Shikigami no Shiro? Say what?

I'm a big SnS fan(obviously), and I never knew that.

You mean Freedom Wind from Shiki 3?

I actually did finish it, by the way. On Normal.

You need a Guncon to beat this game. Seriously.

Re: Revision to Lunar: Walking School walkthrough

FYI, there's a lot of directional errors in it. Northwest when it's actually northeast, east instead of west, etc.

Trivial stuff mostly, I was able to figure out the real way easily enough. The guide is still a lot of help, so thanks. Just thought you'd want to know.

Re: So, has anyone here actually played this game?

I felt like I should finally give this a go after replaying Eternal Blue SCD. In a word, this game is frustrating. Too many random battles, and no way to recover during long dungeon crawls. Still, it has its moments. I'm at Chapter 4. I shiver to think of enduring a Zophar's Palace caliber dungeon i...

The worst I've ever played is Magna Carta. Good story, beautiful design, terrible gameplay.

Re: Top games of LunarNET!

I just cracked open Space Channel 5 this morning to pay homage to "Space Michael." :D Great that it makes your top ten. And... Castle Shikigami 2? Really? My ex bought it and we played it for a while. It's great fun, but the cutscenes and dubbing are just horrible, if... hilarious. The du...

Victor Ireland @ E3

Haven't seen a photo of the guy in a while(if ever :P), caught a glimpse of him at RPGFan's gallery. He was at Hudson's Miami Law booth.

Good to see he's still in the business.

On a random tangent, has anyone played it yet?

Re: Luna's Holo (spoilers)

So the Hiro-crystallization scene wasn't in Complete? That explains why it felt so unfamiliar.

(I haven't played through EB in a decade+. :P)

Weird thing to remove, it was pretty intense. The remakes seem to like removing the depressing stuff. (Like Burg's enslavement in TSS.)

Well, I tried putting it on Hiro, and it worked without fail each time. Weird.

All the same, he's dead now.

Funny that he's still that difficult all these years later.

White Dragon Protect glitch? [Zophar fight]

I use it right before he casts Ultra Vortex. Sometimes it blocks it, most of the time it doesn't.

I've been using Jean as my caster, and she has the Blue & White crests equipped(if that matters).

What gives?

On a related tangent, what does Black Dragon Shield do? Protect from physical harm?

I have to say that all these years later, the localization humor still makes every NPC worth talking to.

There is some downright comedy gold in this game.

Re: English voice acting by who?

Yeah, John Truitt is Ghaleon. I'd rather they just import the dialogue from SSSC than redub him with someone else. (Assuming that's possible, probably not) The whole WD dub was solid, I think. And despite what purists rant about, I thought their dialogue was well written and hilarious, including the...
