Re: Moving away from home
When I first moved into the dorms for college, I was a mixture of excited and repulsed. O_o I had never lived apart from my mom, and I had never lived outside of California since I was 3. There were lots of tears shed at the beginning. Later on, when I moved back to CA, I was kicked out of the apart...

Re: NaNoWriMo
i think they pretty much said that was fine in the "What's NaNoWriMo" section. They're taking quantity over quality right now since we've only got a month to write 55,000 words. I think they actually specifically said, "you're going to write a lot of crap, and that's okay." O.o h...

NaNoWriMo
So November is National Novel Writing Month! Just wondering if anyone's participating! I'm signed up and registered, but I haven't written anything yet (cuz I've been writing papers all day everyday). I'm hoping to send something in for this sometime soon. I'm kinda an English geek, so i'm pretty st...

Re: car trouble
a friend of mine really blessed me by tugging my car to a shop for me, but sadly, it was definitely the timing belt, and with my car, when the timing belt goes, it kind of takes everything under the hood with it. I pretty much need a new engine. :( so i guess i'm gonna have to figure out how to get ...

My car broke down yesterday, and I think it would give me a little bit of peace of mind to at least know exactly what happened in addition to what the tow truck dude said (my timing belt is blown apparently... engine turns over, but car doesn't start... best i can describe it is that it sounds like ...

I don't know about you guys, but I think hockey's one of the best things since sliced bread, and musicals are awesome, too. So why not combine the two? >.< A friend of mine just showed me this link, and it looks like a really cheesy B-rated movie, but it's a really cheesy B-rated movie about hockey ...
