Hmmmm....I'd like to think that Ignatius was originally a good dragonmaster. Just speculation, though.
1) Phyco...you serious about the Niel Armstrong thing? If your theory is in another thread then just re-direct me there so you don't have to rehash everything for me. 2) That's a good point about the Blue Spire being used to collect magic for the Blue Star. Would have been nice to have seen that sce...

It doesn't fit in the sense that many of the books in Vane speak of a Magic Empire 1000 years prior to Lunar 1...It's issues like these that throw shadows on Lunar DS. I'm sure explinations can be made for it, but these issues should have been addressed. Good point. I'm sure explanations could be m...

Well, the fact that SSSC has predictions is not really that surprising. After all, it is the remake of TSS, and of course EB had already been released before SSSC was made. So, with the knowledge that EBC is on the horizen, Game Arts was safely making predictions it would confirm in the next game. ...

SSSC connections (blatant and subtle) to EBC and DS

So I already kind of started a thread like this when I noticed the first blatant connection, but now that I noticed more I'm going to make this the "official" thread for such connections. So far, this is what I found: 1) In the Vane library, there is a scroll on the wall by the head librarian that t...

But it still means nothing in the sense that Nintendo makes games that are decidedly less mature or genre oriented than Xbox or PS2, hence why myself and many others currently want little to do with Nintendo over the other systems which have a wider variety of games Point. Personally, I could care ...

So, you have to take into account the different gaming environments of the two markets before making that kind of statement. I'm aware of the different environments. I was making the statement simply based on raw hardware sales, nothing else. And in raw hardware sales throughout the world, Cube and...

You guys seem to be excluding the Japanese market. The gamecube is kicking the xbox's arse in Japan. Worldwide, the xbox only has a *slight* edge on the cube. It's in America that the xbox dominates the cube.

It's not a book, period. It literally a scroll/plaque on to the right of the librarian (did I spell that right?).

Walk straigh up when you get in the library. It's there :)

Blue Spire in SSSC

Well, now that I finished DS and started SSSC again, I came upon an interesting little fact. In the Vane library, if you go all the way up and check the wall to the right of the librarian, the plaque/scroll mentions something about the Blue Spire on the Blue Star. I think it said that was how people...

Regardless of the reaction, I think it all depends on whether or not the game sells well, period.

Personally, I feel the story of DS was so poorly done that it literally adds NOTHING to the overal Lunar world.

Surely a playtester could've clued them in that their 'features' are not features, they're bugs

I've wondered that about every single crappy game every produced.

You would think so...

But whyfor you hate FF9? See my above post in (I think) page 2 of this thread. But, to sum it up again, I think it was a terrible attempt at bringing FF back to it's roots (at least they tried). The story was TERRIBLE, in my opinion. For me, the story is the number one thing in an RPG. I honestly h...

so looks like i'll be seeing the PS4 before I can even afford to buy the PS3.

That's basically what I'm going to do with the PS2. I'll probably buy one (to get KH2 and FFXII) right before the PS3 comes out.

I'm not gonna lie, I really want Nintendo to win in the console wars. They had a lot of great ideas with the GC (more mature games) but it didn't pan out, largely due to delays and failures on the part of developers. Plus, if they end up reclaiming the top spot, then maybe we'll get some more freaki...

In all fairness the characters of SD2 were Randi, Popoi, and Purim...yet they were left blank in the US release. And I'm really diggin the art style of the series. It's only ever so slightly-slightly (I made that up just now) different from Secret of Mana. Don't know how I feel about a 3-D Mana game...

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!

Mana games get me SOOOOOOO excited!

EDIT:

Personally, I'm still pissed their calling it "Children of Mana", because I feel that would have been (will be!) the perfect localization name for Seiken Densetsu 3. Oh well.

Meh, I liked the story (and apprecaited that it was easier to understand than FF7's), *eventually* liked the draw system, and thought the final boss of the game was probably the hardest boss in any FF game except for Zeromus (FF4)
