Re: Final Fantasy XIII

I haven't had a whole lot of time to play it yet, but from what I have played, it's a lot of fun. The battle system is excellent too. I thought it sounded simplistic before, seeing as how there are no magic points and the like, but it's actually genuinely challenging at times. I also thought the par...

Re: How far along is everyone?

The Leviathan is an underwater fortress if I remember correctly. I believe Myght brought up building a submarine for Dyne and company. But yeah, that's just one example of possibilities.

Re: Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Sliver

Hell yes I'm getting it. I was really into competitive battling with my buddies, and reigned supreme! I was into the IV breeding and EV training, carefully choosing my natures and movesets and all that jazz. I'm excited for it. :) But, I have other games to get through before concerning myself with ...

Re: Final Fantasy XIII

I'm very excited for it. I actually probably rushed through LUNAR a little faster than I would have liked so I would beat it in time for XIII. xD Once I get through this gem though, I'll replay LUNAR and give it the proper respect that it deserves.

Re: How far along is everyone?

I just finished up this morning. Overall, I really enjoyed it. The remastered music and the graphical work were excellent. Sometimes things felt off because I was so attuned to the SSSC voice acting, but not in a bad way. Just not used to it I suppose. I was kind of bothered that they changed thing ...

Re: Favorite anime

Yeah, it was corny, but it definitely had it's appeal. I'm a fan. The ending was excellent too, and the special episode after the series with Usagi and Mamoru's wedding? Definitely a cool addition.

Re: Favorite anime

Oh definitely. There's some pretty cheesy parts in the musicals too mind you, but its good quality work. Good acting, good music, good adaptation of an excellent series. Here's one of my favorite songs...

Oh yeah? Sounds pretty badass... Feeding on the corpses which litter the battle field to replenish your health? Brutal. Right now Im Champion/Berserker.

Re: Favorite anime

Sailor Stars is excellent. I can't decide if it's my favorite season or not... Either that or Super S, though R comes close too. I'm a huge anime nerd in general, but Sailor Moon specifically I have an obscene amount of praise. Nostalgia I guess. But yes, I have all the seasons in my vast anime coll...

Re: Dragon Age: Origins, The Movie, The Game, The Thread

I've skipped a bulk of this thread, because I'm not done with the game yet and don't want any spoilers. :P Buuut, I bought this game the other day and have been playing it religiously. I just recently did the Urn of Sacred Ashes quest and got my Champion specialization. I was very tempted to go the ...

Re: Anyone here have a tattoo?

I have a single tattoo right now, but have been saving and planning for a half sleeve too. I'm a huge fan of body art, so I think it's a very good investment. Just my preference though I suppose. ;)

Heres what I have now.

Re: How's Work?

I really enjoy my job, but it isn't anything substantial. I was unemployed and had to take what I could find. I work at a food coop, selling produce and organic food and all that jazz. But, minimal hours and minimum wage. ; ;

Not trying to start a flame war, but if you have a strong stomach check out Berserk. It has depth and is genuinely engaging. Lunar is my first love story-wise. Berserk is like the second-girlfriend who shows me how to be a man, in a way. ... ... ... GRIIIIIFFFFIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTT...

Don't worry Nobi, I'm with you. I'm a huge football fan, and I was rooting for the Saints myself. Though, I was ORIGINALLY rooting for the Vikes, and I'm not going to vocalize how bogus I found a majority of those calls in the Saints x Vikings game, but, regardless... Congrats.

Re: Xenogears: Great game or mediocre at best?

I absolutely love Xenogears. The Gear battles are very unique and a blast to play, discovering the deathblows is awesome, and the characters are all very likable. The primary reason I like it though, is the basis of the Freudian theory of Id, Ego, and Superego behind the plot. It gives Fei some seri...
