Japanese Music Credits?

Post by Quantam »

What are the Japanese music credits for TSS? In the English version most of the Japanese staff are simply grouped together under Japan Team. Does the Japanese version actually say who did the music?

The TSS OST tracklist does list them more specifically, I think. I'll see if I can find some info for you; I have the OST, but don't know enough to transcribe the Japanese names. IIRC, most of the tracks were done by Noriyuki Iwadare, but there were three additional people who composed music for the game. I think, but am not certain, that Isao Mizoguchi was one.

Found a copy of the relavent page from Shiva Indis's Lunar Goods Archive that I saved back in 2005 (!!) that has the info. Not sure about the discrepancy regarding Mizoguchi's first name.

Oh, huh. I didn't realize there was a TSS OST (unless you're referring to the TSS/SSSC one). Okay, thanks.

No, this is about the Japanese TSS OST, as the release date of 4/22/92 should make clear. :)

There is actually a scan off of the booklet on the main site! https://www.lunar-net.com/soundtracks/tssost/p1.jpg
Further to Alun's post, I've corrected a few of the staff's given names (often tricky for people to guess, Japanese or non-Japanese), one track title (Honky, not Funky), and added the paranthetical explanations so you can match the songs in the medleys to individual track composers off of the CD audio.
