Re: Cool image of Alex training (Toshiyuki Kubooka)
I know I've seen this one but I am having a heck of a time remembering where. One of the artbooks seems most likely. Still, I don't think I'd seen a nice electronic version of it, so thanks!

It's a nice one! I sort of remember seeing this in the old Beep! Mega Drive magazines or similar. Alun, maybe you actually have it in your collection somewhere as a result?

I'll have to look and see! But won't be able to for a bit because I am very busy at work right now. It does look like TSS-era, given the monument in the background.

Right you are about Dyne's grave being the teller! I checked the Lunar I&II Official Design Material Collection, and while it oddly doesn't include the finished version, it does contain the sketch.

It is in fact in one of my magazines--the same one that was scanned for this:
http://lunar-net.com/tss/artwork-media-specials.php
Specifically, page 2 of "The Snake Ring":

There are a few other pictures in that story too (which are also posted)! It originally appeared in Megadrive FAN Aug 1992, and the story is pages 67-71. I hope we can get it translated someday.
