I could be wrong, but after Alex becomes the Dragonmaster, head over to Lann and talk to the mayor. The mayor is the old man in the biggest house of Lann, it's the house that you first meet Jessica in. It has the big fire pit in the middle. Anyway, talk to the mayor and pick the first option, then continue playing the game. After Vane gets shot out of the sky by the Grindery, go back to Lann and talk to the mayor again. He'll give you Ghaleon's tear. :D

Also, at this time you can get a few more items. If you go to Reza and speak to Lily a few times, she'll give you the Gale Ring, and if you go speak to Damon, he'll give you the Hell Ring. I think you can also pick up the Rememberizer from Ramus too, but that may only be before you to to the frontier. :?

Hope this helps! :D

I think you also have to talk to Lily a bunch prior to that, probably the first time you meet her.

Part 3: 4 Secret Items

There are 4 particularily usefull items that are hidden out of
the dungeons. They are well worth getting so go for them!

Ghaleon's Tear:
Use: When equiped as an accesory, each attack of the equiped
person will hit every enemy!
Location: Right after Alex has become a dragon master, talk to the
cheif of Lann and chose option "1". After the destruction
of vane, talk to the village cheif again and he will give
you the Ghaleon's Tear.

Gale Ring:
Use: When equiped as an accesory, gives you an extra attack.
Location: Talk to Lilly, the theif guild's daughter 3 times after
the destruction of vane. She is located in the room right
before the theive's bizaar.

Rememberizer:
Use: Let's you view any past movie sequances.
Location: Talk to Ramsus at his shop just before going to the
fronteir.

Hell Ring:
Use: When equiped as an accesory, it halves that character's
MP consumption.
Location: Talk to Damon after the destruction of vane.

However, the rememberizer, do you have to talk to Ramus before you leave to get it? I always did just to get the free stuff, so having to do something like that in order to play the spectacular end movies seems a bit harsh (so I guess I have to treasure that thing more eh?)

Huh. I remember getting the Rememberizer in the Epilogue.

You must be thinking about EBC. During SSSC you get the rememberizer from Ramus. :D

Nah, I know it's from Ramus. I mean I remember getting it in SSSC's epilogue, the part in Meribia after defeating Ghaleon and saving Luna.

Really? I only remember getting the bromides from him during Epilogue. I thought you could only get the rememberizer from him before you go the the frontier and after the destruction of Vane.

No, the rememberizer is definantely gotten from Ramus in the epilogue. But according to the text above, it says that you have to talk to him before you leave for the frontier in order to get it from him in the end (like in order to get a bromide you have to pay his debt off for someone in Burg before you leave to Meribia.)

So again, I'll have to replay from right before I leave the frontier, to see if you have to absolutely have to talk to him in order to trigger the event. *shrugs* But, I just don't have the time or energy >_>.

He sells the rememberizer in his store after saving luna if u talked to him before u went to the frontier i think.

:? That's odd, because I've never gotten the rememberizer during epilogue, I always got it before hand while playing the game.

As I recall I too got this item before the epiloge... I could swear taking a break from the goddess tower to watch some of the cut-scenes over again... though it's been awhile since I've been at that point in the game, in my replay I've only just got to Lyton...

You can either get it in the epilogue OR you can get it before you go to the Frontier. I remember being able to play things from the first disc just after switching to the second.

I think the only difference is that youu have to buy the Rememberizer before going to the frontier, otherwise Ramus gives it to you. I'm unclear there.

In the epilogue of SSSC Ramus sells the rememberizer to you for an anomanal fee. You really dont need money anymore besides for bromides so go ahead and buy it. You should have enough money anyways from the frontier.

"anomanal"? Is that supposed to be "nominal", as in not very much? My recollection is that it was something like 20,000 silver. He offers it to you for free before you go to the Frontier (and I think gives you the code to unlock the minigame on the documentary disc at the same time) or charges you during the epilogue if you didn't get it previously, as I recall.

Old as the thread is, I may as well clarify some things:

- Ramus only offers the Jess 3 and Mia 3 bromides if you paid off his 30s debt at the very beginning of the game.

- Lily only gives you the Gale Ring if you talked with her repeatedly when you first meet her. I think you need to promise to come back and play with her, not sure.

- The Lann Mayor only gives you Ghaleon's Tear if you accept his offer to be made an honorary citizen of Lann (this is what "option 1" in the stuff Phyco quoted is). I missed this when I played because I chose "Burg is my home" or whatever Alex's other dialogue choice is.

I'd guess that the Hell Ring also has some dialogue flag associated with it (talking to Damon enough or at the right time) but don't know this for sure.
