Maybe it was just the point of access. I tried to use that link yesterday and something screwy happened. Try this one.Althena's_Courtier wrote:f'n websxcene won't let me even access the site! *sniff*

It's not uncommon for people to do that. I've done it for a few members.HikariOmoi wrote:I don't really have any plans to buy her but I signed up just for the guys/gals that do. I wonder how many people will do that? Add it to the wish list just because they want to help get her recasted?
Who knows? Maybe they'll start looking for other Lunar characters!

Chiriku, it's good to see you back. It's really cool that you're doing this. And I still think Lucia'd be nice to own, but personally, I'm a little too klutzy with paint to risk +$70. I'll still sign up to help those that know what they're doing.
Edit: After looking at the site for more than just the Lucia page, I have to say I'm amazed at how sculpters can take characters like Mai Shiranui and Morrigan and present them as porn stars. I just wasn't expecting that. Anyway, I think I'm going to go play some Snk vs. Capcom for a while...

lol Unfortunately, there are a lot of those porn stars as you called them. That and most of them have really big breast. Law defying breast. I don't care for those. I'm more of a cutesy person. As for painting, it's so easy. The hardest pieces to do would be her eyes. and her shawl (if you wanted all the little patterns and stuff). Plus, the community there has tutorials that can help you paint. Essentials like techniques to keep your hands steady and all that good stuff.localflick wrote:Chiriku, it's good to see you back. I didn't realize there was a market for half-naked anime characters, but it's really not surprising that there is. I've been playing a lot of Neo Geo Pocket Fighting games where the characters are cutesy and super-deformed lately. It's amazing to be how the same characters can be presented in one form as super cute and innocent; almost children's characters, and in another form as adult naked models.
Anyway, Lucia seems like she'd be one of the easier kits to paint, but that shall looks like it would take a while. I added her to my wishlist along with Ryu from Pocket Fighter, and one of the FF7 Cloud kits. I just hope they still carry it when I have $70 to spend on a kit. (I went a little overboard with the Christmas shopping). Thanks again for setting this up.

Chiriku couldn't post this herself (some restriction on double-posting, I'd guess) so she PMed me this:
Lucia just came out and I want to spread the word and I figured the fastest way to do that is by posting it.

lol I've put GhaleonOne to work to accomodate Lucia. lol Don't buy any paints from Walmart! Blah! They are horrible. I've tried them on one of my kits, the paint chipped and peeled before I could find any protective clear paint to paint over it. Acrylics work the best. If you get them on your clothes or something it's easy to get them off as long as you keep it wet before you wash it. They are a little easier to handle when painting as well. Airbrushes also work good from what I've been told, even though I'm still doing everything by hand. Also, a drill and paper clips as pins will come in handy to keep her together better. If you just glue the pieces together they may occassionally pop off. You just drill a hole in on the pieces, make sure the match together, and there you go. Of course this is just for heavier peices. Little pieces only need glue.
Hello peeps!
The color paint? Are you talking about the colors used or the brand of paint? If it's the colors, no. They leave that up to the painter who buys the kit. If it's a brand you're asking about there isn't any particular brand. They do carry Mr. Color though, which is suppose to be very good, although I haven't gotten around to buying a bottle yet.punkabof1 wrote:Wow thats hot but before I order, do they tell me the color paint i should get?
