Noriyuki Iwadare billed for Tokyo VGM Festival

The event is called 4 Star Orchestra, and it will be held in Tokyo the weekend of Sept. 30th 2011. And I wish I could go.

Iwadare's outfit is called "Noriyuki Iwadare Special Band" and includes Michiko Naruke on keyboard. I didn't realize that there was a new Uematsu band, but there is and they'll be there. They do more than just Final Fantasy tunes.
If you followed the link and noticed the leathery dude with the cheesy smile, that's Shigeru Matsuzaki. He's a pop singer with a long career, but he's coming for his contributions to Katamari.
