This looks unexpectedly awesome. I especially love the new portrait for Althena, and the battle sprites for the heroes are just exciting. ^_^ Wish Althena fought with them, though.

The Five Princes of the Black Star, those crazy looking monsters. It says that the baddie (Aifeloon?) summoned them to destroy the world.

Hrm, I think I need to take effort to hide possible spoilers now...

Masks seems to be a theme here; it also says that the Five Princes aren't corporeal, their forms are like masks. The baddie betrayed the Four Heroes at some earlier point, so his mask pretty much has to come off before the scenario is over. And it seems to be leaning towards Funato's Ghaleon background - it doesn't say he's a mazoku, but he is part of a long-lived race.

This reminds me a lot of the start of the first Lufia game when you're in control of that game's legendary four heroes. I wonder how they'll pace this new story. Will it be added to the beginning like a prologue, spread out throughout parts of the game acting like an "intermission" from the main story, or something you unlock by completing the game.

I hope that if they're adding a bit of new story it's reflected in the rest of the game. I don't want them to just tack-on a sub-plot and then have no other references to it for the rest of the game.

This is what I'd hope for, or possibly the post-game extra scenario thing. If they did it as a prologue, or even a single event, I imagine it'd reveal too much too quickly.

This looks like what we've been waiting for! It'll be nice to play at least some of the back story to the Four Heroes and the loose outline so far of the mysterious character's background seems interesting. I like the new portraits overall..except for the Dyne portrait.

Aside from Dyne looking weird...THAT LOOKS AWESOME! I can't wait to find out more about this.

Well the Black Dragon stuff was nixed post-TSS. Also what area does that place look? It's not the Goddess Tower. And one of those prince demons looks a bit like part of Zophar.

i like the portrait of dyne as well. i think it kind of resembles laike a bit.

now i'm importing for sure.

The article mentions a new location called Leviathan, I assume that's what's in the screens. Wasn't the mazoku ship in the SSS novels called that too?

And I like Dyne's art too, it has a lot of character.

Btw under Althena's profile on that page is the number 1000. I wonder if that's mention of DS. Maybe a vague mention of the last time she became human?

I thought Alex having the green eyes was only mentioned in TSS? Like it was a prophecy.

It's so sad that these new story elements are the only "new" thing in Lunar that we've had for so many years. The new antagonist looks interesting and his face reminds me of those enemies in Eternal Blue where you first see Ghaleon in that temple. Not exact, but shape wise. The other alien looking things would have been more interesting if there was some actual facial expression to them, or even humanistic. The Four Heroes look awesome though, and I hope they have some incredibly amazing spells to use. I'd like this segment to be longer than shorter since it's something new.

Dyne only looks like that because it's an expressionistic frame. I love seeing pre-Luna incarnation Althena and how opposite she is when she becomes Dark Althena. If you look you can see the ages of the Four Heroes in their description, and Althena is probably referenced as having been alive for 1000 years in her current form. So who is going to translate for us, Kizyr, Nobiyuki or Shiva?

Btw, some of the smiley faces are missing their icons and won't work.
