So I'm confused; is it available in-store, or online only?

Got my guide. Reminds me of the old Silver Star guide. Except in COLOR!

Otherwise fairly typical. None of the awesome humor in it though

I'm not really sure I bet someone will respond that actually knows. However, if you check in store availability on the gamestop website I bet you will find that nobody in your area has it. I live in a metropolitan area and I couldn't find a guide w/in 100 miles. (I checked other Metro areas as well). I'm going to assume that getting it online is your best bet.

Mine has yet to come, but it will later. UPS doesn't like to come to my house until the evening. That's what they always choose to do. ^^;

As far as I know, online would probably be best to buy the guide. Gamestop tends to not carry much of anything that isn't popular. I did a check on my ZIP code and there are no guides within 100 miles either.

Edit: Okay! It came. A lot smaller than I expected, nothing really new to note. It's mainly just a guide. They even used the old PSX art for the character bios. That part was kind of depressing. The good news is that on some of the pages there are some of the new character portraits used in the dialogue scattered throughout random pages. I'm in the process of scanning the cover and back of the guide. My internet sucks, so smaller picture for now...if my internet works right. Which it isn't at the moment, so scaning might have to wait. I want to scan a few more things too (like some of the new character protraits that show up during dialog), but I think It'll have to wait. STUPID INTERNET! D:

I laughed when I read Alex's height (5ft6inch). He's a shrimp. Kyle has a more respectable average height (5ft11inch).

I called my gamestop where i have it preordered, they said it didnt come today, that alot of stuff had not come in that they expected, he thinks itll be in tomorrow tho.

I'm in the process of scanning the new character portraits used in SSH that are randomly put throughout the guide. I'll post them later.

I went to grab mine today but it wasn't there and I couldn't stay until later for the shipment to arrive. Will pick it up Monday since I paid it off last night to make sure I get one.

They said when I asked about availibility that they get # equal to preorders + a few extra. I would imagine... 2 tops, lol.

I also didn't get my Heavy Rain promo code... gonna go -Borgan- at them Monday because I wasn't aware of it and they didn't seem to have a clue.

No problem. I figured people would be curious, and plus, I wanted some of the stuff out of it scanned myself. ^_^

Okay, now for character portraits. Just to be on the safe side, SPOILERS are in some of these! There's only like, one as far as I know though. I'll mark it. Also, I am cropping only the portrait out, not the whole page (there's no need for the whole page). Even though they are cropped, some of the background remains. If there's a portrait someone wants COMPLETELY clean, I might clean it up. Just let me know. Also, this is all that's really new or pretty in this guide. The rest is maps or the guide itself so...Taaaaaaa daaaaaaaa! Dark_Fairy is done! Enjoy the scans. ^_^

Just so everyone knows, all new portraits are scanned now that way you don't have to keep checking the post. The post is finally complete. ^^;

Just makes me smile and really happy to see another Lunar guide/game nowadays. Even if it is another remake. =D

I picked up my guide at GameStop tonight, and I recommend you do a search via the Store Locator online instead of relying on an in-stock search. I called a few GameStop's and only the one at the mall had gotten three of them.

I was very surprised at how small the guide is, as the stock picture is deceiving. I though it was going to be a full-sized guide like Prima's Final Fantasy guides. It's pretty much the size that the Sega CD guides were, and maybe even the remakes. I didn't pull them out to compare. It's a shame they didn't put the guide into a larger format with higher resolution images, but what can you expect for $15. I'm pleased with it for the most part.

I picked mine up today (there's a good Gamestop nearby), and it is surprisingly small. The guide, not the Gamestop.

What I'm wondering is, why is the only character to get a full-page portrait Ramus?

Because he needed the whole page to fit?

... ouch, even I feel bad now after that
