Hm, hm, hm, have you checked GameFAQs? I did a little campaigning of my own. Ha, ha, ha!

Hmm.. I went over there and I can't find anything ^^; I've never really posted even though I have an account name and all. Can you provide a link? :)

Thanks!

I actually meant that response towards AngelAlex, but if you want to see the posts there, just type in "Lunar Eternal Blue" in their search bar and it'll show the list of games. Just click on the message board for that game and you'll see the posts "Vote Lucia!" with my response.

BTW, AngelAlex, ready to conceed your candidate's loss yet? Ghaleon is over 20 votes ahead and it's only the first day! Mwahahaha!

Actually, I confess. I feel bad for defeating your dealy beloved so badly, so unless Nall looses in the next matchup, I'll try and give Lucia a little boost. She really is a decent character. Just not quite Ghaleon. Ha ha ha. *gloats*

Ditto here! Mia's loss shall be avenged here! Go Ghaleon!! Campaigning is all good and fair eh... well time to get the ol' keyboard typing and get the man some more votes!

*shakes his head*

If you knew how hard I was fighting, or what lengths I was willing to go, you'd never feel bad at all, not though your lead should extend to 50 or more.

...It's not that I failed, really. 65 votes in a 24 hour time period would be impressive, in most circumstances. It's only 15 votes behind Lucia's maximum vs. Mia, and I'll probably get over 150 before I'm done.

I just...can't quite take a coalition on myself, apparently.

Edit:Anyways...for my client's sake...I can't surrender. Not on day one. Not when the poll's over. Bah. I'm probably extending enough effort Lucia should leave Hiro for me. Angelalex242xLucia OTP!
Don't blame me, Lucia promised me lots of snuggles and cuddles if I would be her PR guy.

I don't know, I think AngelAlex is the type of fellow to take the results to court. I heard the new e-voting systems were put into place by members of Ghaleon's compaign.

Have you looked at GameFAQs today? Heh, your campaigning seems to have worked against you.

With this win, I think Ghaleon might even be able to win this entire tournament.

I get the impression that the final battle will be ghaleon vs nall. I may not even vote under those circumstances.

And you call yourself a Ghaleon.

Course, I can understand. I don't want to feel the wrath of Lunartic in the next round if Nall goes up against Ghaleon. I'm fairly happy with the results though. All three of my favorite characters made it into the semi's ( 1. Ghaleon, 2. Nall, 3. Lucia). Would have been good if Leo and Ronfar made it farther though.

It's so hard, though! Nall went from being a humorous smartass to being someone who takes in children who would've otherwise grown up dysfunctional and without a sense of family.

The one thing that's hurting Nall in my eyes (outside of ghaleon's pluses) is that in EBC he isn't that funny. I'm a big fan of comedy. I know Ghaleon wasn't exactly humorous, but when i put in EB or EBC i wasn't PRIMED for him to be funny.

What the heck do you expect me to do? I'm well aware who the most popular character is, and it isn't our candidate. Targeted campaigning doesn't work because Ghaleon's in both games, so I had to convince voters to reject him.

I keep looking for new places to get more votes. I've gone from rpol.net to gameFAQs to MUSHes. I'm going to go to Youtube next. Maybe I can rally some support there.

But hey. Your candidate said it.

"You never cease to amaze me. Even in the darkest and most hopeless hour, you pull together and fight towards the light."

...so I've got more fighting to do. If you'll excuse me.

I'll give it a rest. I've been going overboard with the "campaign" stuff. It's just too fun. :P

Just remember, Lucia won the tournament first, by beating Ghaleon and Luna in a three-way in the semi's last time. I think she beat Alex in the finals. I will retire her and the winner this year, and probably make this a recurring thing, with each winner retiring. Probably at the end of each tournament, we can do a battle royal winners match adding each new character that wins.

Most likely. That's what GameFaqs does.

But damnit, it's a point of pride. I may not be able to beat you, but if I can beat the 100+ vote mark, neither Alex nor Luna will be able to make a decent 3rd place showing. I should come out of this with a bronze medal at least.

I've done what I could at Youtube. Let's see if that does me any good.

They've got a surprising amount of Lunar videos lying around for me to draw support from.

Yeah, that would have been nice. I wish at least one of my favorite characters had made it this far, but at least Ghaleon and Nall are still in. C'mon guys, pull through!

I believe the first game in a series, is always the best game. (besides Final Fantasy =P)

This is why I like all the LSSSC/LTSS Characters.

Go, Ghaleon! XD I wonder how much longer this poll will last?

I don't see the logic in thinking the first has to be the best with one series making an exception. Why couldn't a sequel surpass the original?

There are games that surpass the original, but they just don't turn out to be as expected of the first one. Like not as funny or a lesser storyline or something.

Agreed. To me, Lunar EB's story captured me more than TSS. TSS had the really cool culture and way of living that was so unique to any other RPG story, and then EB showed the progress of both the culture and the religious believes over a 1000 year period. That's why it's hard to say one game is better than the other. It's a perfect two-part series IMO. It's also why so many of us dislike how they handled the overall feel of SSS. They made it too similiar to EBC. Not only did it dull TSS's great feel, but it lessened EBC's cultural changes.

Still, if I was forced to choose Lunar 1 or Lunar 2, I'd take Lunar 2. As much as I liked TSS, EB was a friggin' masterpiece for it's time (and still holds up, story-wise, quick well)
