It's funny. When I first read the title, I thought sarcastically that it might be about Mt. Everest, and somehow climbing up there with a Nintendo DS in tow, or leaving one up there as a memento to the future or something. Then I thought, "No, it's probably more about the system being on top in sales or something."

But you didn't disappoint, G1. That's awesome. Especially the description of Mt. Everest as a level boss. :D

Since the system just launched I'm not surprised it's still lagging a bit in the software department, but Lost in Blue is supposed to be out in September and quite frankly I can't wait. ^_^ That's the game that's going to make me buy a DS. (Well, Lunar is a factor too, but Lunar wasn't playable at E3 and Lost in Blue was.)

There's a lot of games coming along that look good for the DS. In fact, from what I saw of games that were announced or playable at E3, the DS was the best system there. Castlevania, Lunar, Lost in Blue, a new 2D Mario, Mario Kart, Advance Wars, Animal Crossing, two Bomberman's, FF3, three Metroid titles (the pinball one was supposedly excellent), Mario & Luigi 2, untitled Seiken Densetsu game (hope it's Secret of Mana), Zelda, Winning Eleven (ONLINE!), Vandal Hearts and Xenosaga, Shin Megami Tensi, Viewtiful Joe, Dynasty Warriors, Magical Vacation II, and Sonic Rush... And those were just the games that vaugely interest me. There's also games like Pokemon that will appeal to the masses.

Gah. I was there and I completely forgot to look for Metroid games. :P It really sucked having only very slow dialup at my folks' when the whole reason I was down was for the concert and E3; I couldn't easily find out ahead of time what to look for. Oh well; guess I'll catch up now that I'm back home.

DS is owning in Japan and Europe...many North Americans and South Americans are scared of innovation, and anything that doesn't have amples of blood and sexuality.
