lol, I'll have to alert Julie (MiaOne) of this thread, considering her love of Johnny Depp.

Nah, he's a really good actor IMO. Can't wait for Pirates 2!

Johnny Depp!

Yes, I like him. He's one of those actors I enjoy watching for each individual role, for what he brings to the character and the way he becomes it. I mean, drawing a connection between Scissorhands, Ed Wood, and Depp as a pirate is nearly impossible, and quite amazing.

Can't wait for Pirates 2 myself, HOWEVER, I would rather see the guy who plays Aragorn. Aragorn FTW! Oh so sexy....

Johnny Depp is one of my favorite actors, I must admit. He's also damned good in that he seems able to take on nearly any role and pull it off. He is human and does screw up sometimes (hey, nobody's perfect), but he's right far more often then he's wrong.

Hehe, Johnny Depp just seems to have that appeal, I guess. I remember talking with some female friends and they didn't even care about Orlando Bloom in Pirates; it was all about Jack Sparrow. Granted, Depp is a handsome guy in general, but something about him playing a raggedy pirate appeals to my non-mainstream-ish fem friends.

I am very much looking forward to pirates 2, and Johnny Depp is a very, very good reason to be so excited! He was most excellent in the first (to the point that my friends and I are still quoting Sparrow's lines from the movie) and we all have high expectations for the second. =)

In fact it makes me grin just thinking about it... almost there right?

I got to work the world premiere at Disneyland last weekend, but i was only in Downtown Disney. The stars got there around Thu/Fri-ish and someone saw Orlando Bloom. The day of the premiere some people saw Johnny Depp in the basement getting ready. And this past monday, he was in the stockroom... an hour or two before I came to work! AH! SO CLOSE!

maybe for the pirates 3 premiere...... hope I'm still working there!

He is an amazing actor, but he seems really weird to me. He is so outspoken and verbal in a lot of his roles, but in interviews and other real-life appearences...he talks really strangely. I don't know how else to desrcibe it, but he just seems so quiet and slurs his words and...yeah.

He is indeed a brilliant actor and not too bad on the eyes either. If a movie is ever made about my life, I want him to play me.

Good actor aye, but man can he play a crazy cool bad guy (aka Once Upon a Time in Mexico.) Can't wait to see PotC 2 though, Depp + the elf guy = must be good.

I could've sworn I posted in this topic.

Anyway, I liked him in everything but Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

I love Johnney Depp, and not just because he looks good. I really admire his acting ability.

At the Pirates 2 premiere, I got his autograph and some pictures. <3

You must post the pictures!! xD

I <3 Jack Sparrow... oh and Johnny too ;p

Yeah I gotta say every role I can remember him playing has been completely different from anything else. He may be a little eccentric, but I think that's part of his charm... that while he has all of these opinions and whatnot, he still gets his job done and he's darn good at it! ^_^b

It was at Disneyland on the 23rd...er...or was it the 24th? Now I don't remember. But I think it was the 23rd.

And the pictures aren't really that good (I brought a crappy camera ;_;) but I'll post them if you want. They're probably closer than what most people got, though. I was pretty close-up.

Please do!

I would have figured it would have premiered at Disney World though. Huh.
