Lunar Character Tournament 2...

Looks like Althena is going to be the other top seed that gets upset. The downfall for those that upset their brackets though, is that Jessica gets to face Alex and Mia gets to face the winner of the last competition, Lucia. In fact, Mia gets to go at it two nights in a row. The Lucia vs. Althena bracket starts tonight. I may go all out with the graphics for the last of the tournament too. Homepage graphics, full-size graphics for the tournament page, etc.

Somehow, I don't know, I think maybe Jessica will beat out Alex. As much as I like Alex, I don't know, I'll have to really think about that one. At this point, I'd probably vote Jessica over him though. As for Mia vs. Lucia, I would chose Mia. Mia, in my opinion, is just more likeable, and a more in-depth character. To me at least. Ghaleon will automatically get my vote everytime though... nobody compares to him in mah book xD

I would have REALLY liked to see Alex go against Dyne...it would have been hard to vote on, too. Ah well, Jessica is okay. Atleast he didn't lose to Borgan!

Well, I like the Ausa family a lot (mostly after reading that manga I mentioned on the page before) so I voted for Mia both times.

Wow, if these votes keep going like this, Mia will pull a France and knock out the defending champion in the quarterfinal. 6-1 for Mia currently. I personally like both characters, so I'm still trying to decide.

Voted Lucia because i enjoyed her character development more than Mia's and Mia is entirely too quiet.

Mia!

Her quiet was actually one thing that endeared her to me, and the way that she eventually worked herself out of her timidity... and her quiet became more of a ... solemnity? ... than a pure shyness.

And Lucia's good too, but Mia edges her out.

Yeah, I agree. Her character developement was very well done, and I always liked how despite her timid nature she would always do what had to be done.

She's definitely my favorite female character from the series, so she has my vote.

I gave her my vote. Mainly because I was waiting to see who would take the lead and then vote for the character that's behind. I couldn't really decide between them, so I figured that was the best way to vote.

I think I mentioned it already, but yeah, I tend to like the TSS characters more than EB, so there isn't too much to think about when there's a VS there. What will be hard is if it's two TSS vs eachother...

I think Lucia's character development was good and nicely done... but maybe her "personality" came too late for me to really like her, I dunno. I'm just not fond of her character. Mia I liked right away, not only is she pretty but I think if she were a real person she'd be very likable and I could probably be friends with her. I think I can kind of relate to Mia with her shyness and all as well.

So in the end yeah Mia definitely beats out Lucia in my opinion.

On topic, next round Ghaleon has my vote.

You know what? It just occured to me how awesome it would be for Ghaleon to go against Dyne in the tournament. Ghaleon is more probably more popular...but I wonder who would win had they actually fought?

I'd be willing to bet Ghaleon would beat Hiro, but I'm not sure he'll take Mia in the semi's. People have always tended to go with the Lunar girls over the Lunar guys (Alex being probably the only exception). I'd really say this tournament will see Luna, Alex, Mia or Jessica win it. I think it'll end up being Luna personally. She only lost in the last tournament in a three-way dance between her, Ghaleon and Lucia. I think Ghaleon took more of her votes away than Lucia's votes the last time around, as it was extremely close that time. Should be interesting though.

Keep in mind, these polls aren't 24 hours anymore. 48 hour polls for the quarters, and longer than that in round after. Check the latest update for exact lengths. I don't remember offhand.

Edit - Lucia just pulled a bunch of votes and went ahead of Mia slightly. I'm kind of suspicious of it, but she has been slowly gaining for a while now. Just seems like it was a quick amount of votes all the sudden. I'll have to keep an eye on it. It's certainly possible, but it's the first time in the tournament someone has caught up on an 8 vote lead in a few hours. Still 22 hours to go though. Anyone's game.
