Getting down to the bottom line here...

I think I was done a week ago, I'm exhausted.

I can't sleep... it's cold, and I am alone.

I feel empty...

Having a hard time, huh? =/ Try your best to relax, and think of the wonderful degree your busting your rear for.

PS-
Congratulations for actually going to college. A lot of people don't and have no lives.

Think on the bright side. By the time you get your degree, the economy might have picked up so that you can actually get a job.

I've run out of digits to cross.

I should be studying for my final IO test but I am tired... I think I'll just lay down with it a bit.

In other news, I'm feeling much better.
This month felt like the longest month ever though.

It's because I want it to be May so bad so I can see Kiz.

Finals week isn't too bad for me this semester. Last week sucked, though. A test, a take-home test, and quite a lot of homework. I didn't get much sleep.

It's been pretty terrible for me this semester. It's been years since I've taken a language exam that was this difficult. I feel like I did pretty decently... now let's see how the traditional history/classics professor takes my paper, which basically posits a slashy relationship between Gregory VII and Henry IV. (Or more correctly, a friendship gone wrong.)

You're right. The evidence is in the Wordle.

I wish, done until Fall. It'll be a few years yet depending on how well I perform. Hopefully sooner than later.

TBH I really wish I hadn't taken so long to get started. I'm way behind where someone my age would normally be educationally and I'm not particularly ambitious. I may need to reevaluate my priorities and keep beating away at it though.

I am older for where I am at in my education as well. Although I find that it does have it's perks. At least we have the maturity and world knowledge to take us through our journey.

One thing I've noticed about my students is that the older ones try harder and usually take their courses more seriously. Maybe it's because they're paying for it themselves? I dunno.

I've always been incredibly academically driven, so it's never been a problem for me. Then again, I'm not exactly a baby-faced freshman anymore either, so perhaps I'm just projecting onto my past self.

What I have noticed about younger students is they don't fully understand the value of education or the dollar. Many of them are going to college because they feel like they have to. And I even have friends that get a free ride through college thanks to financial aid. Those are the students that I often see sleeping in class, not doing all their work etc. Even though I am old for where I am at in my education the students that are even older than I seem to be the best students.

I'm a bit of a goofball and a slacker. But still paying for it. It's because, for now, I can goof off and slack and still do well enough.
