It's okay. We'll all fail together. Come on!

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bafana Bafana FTW.

This is a good start. A very good start. KF

EDIT:
Dangit, a tie! Oh well, it's better than a loss.

Stay tuned to see how badly Uruguay loses to France. KF

Uruguay wont get stomped by France. Hell, France lost to China last week. I like the French but they have an imbecile for a manager.

What an eventful first day. 1-1 and a 0-0.

I'm about to watch the Mexico/South Africa game finally now that I'm home. I doubt I'll bother with France/Uruguay. I took a late lunch to watch the first half of that, and it was not that great of a game. Tomorrow should be better. USA v England just for what it is, and Nigeria vs Argentina should be a great fast-paced matchup. Greece vs South Korea will be tactical and could be boring or fun.

BTW, I'll honor the brackets for the contest even though we only got 6 entries.

Neither did I to be honest.

I'm loving this Argentina v Nigeria game. Fast pace, even though there's only been one goal so far. I'm hoping USA v England is good too.

Seriously...seriously...I've seen kindergarten keepers with less slippery fingers than that.

Feh...

In all seriousness, you gotta feel for him. He'll be living that down for years, if not decades. That's probably the biggest high-profile keeper blunder in the history of English football.

Well, luckily it wasn't an elimination game. I was hoping for a scored draw, but not like that. Painful...

Argentina vs. Nigeria was a fun match to watch.
See, G1, this is gonna be Argentina's year! Just you wait.

And USA-ENG was great. For us that is. KF

Honestly, I ain't gonna lie, Argentina looked confident. Maradona especially. When Messi started doing his magic, it felt like Barcelona. If they gel well, and they should with their hardest game out of the way, Maradona could be inspirational as a coach, and Messi could cement himself as the best in the world of this current generation of youngsters.
