Yeah, if you look you'll see that quite a few people here have a reg date of Dec 24-25 2002. The boards were wiped shortly before that and we all had to re-reg. The joined date is only an indication of how long someone's been here if it's significantly after that.

8 sounds about right, though I always find it funny when people tell me they were here 10 years ago, when the site is only a bit more than 7 and a half years old. Course, a select few of us were on AOL's ACO prior to that for almost a year.
