Yep! Though I haven't played it in years... it's too slow paced for my tendencies for SUPER SPEED!

For the same reason there're huge sites with beard contests and rock paper scissors tournaments...
Because people will do just about anything if it entertains them, and just about anything can entertain people.

There's more of a reason to make a large site about rock-paper-scissors. You might think it's just a 50/50 chance win for either side, but in large tournaments there's a psychological strategy involved that can give a good player an edge over others.
Consider... humans can't truly pick anything at random. So, there's often some kind of logical process going behind which they'll choose: rock, paper, or scissors. So, one player can keep tabs on other seeing 1) which of the three they pick most likely, and 2) what order they throw rock, paper, or scissors. For example, one person can be prone to throwing alternately paper and rock against each opponent; if there's a tie, the person usually throws the hand that would win against that tie.
In Japanese tournaments it's easier to keep tabs since there's the "aichi muite hoi" part which can extend a one-on-one paper-rock-scissors match out several turns before there's a victor. Me, personally, I'm undefeated at the game. KF

I guess Sonic's right. You can write a lot about anything, even about these games, as long as it entertains you.
ps: interesting item. may be a good topic
