It's sorta of a concept album about professional wrestling, but it's mostly about the singer looking back on his adolescent heroes and using their life course to anticipate his own future.

Everybody knows this song and you don't have to speak French to appreciate it.
Beautiful!

Been listening to this song a lot lately (found a version with English subtitles here -- the flow doesn't translate too well, but that shouldn't matter here):

I should learn French. Though rap isn't for me, that was pretty interesting.
Here's another song by the same awesome artist from my previous post. From what I understand, this was a pretty big hit.

I've been listening to this exquisite version of the Jurassic Park theme.

Truth is I actually don't know (much) French. I am really into French hip-hop, but the understanding of the lyrics itself usually comes through a combination of cognates with English and Spanish (since I do know Spanish), people who have translated the lyrics manually, Google Translate, and context. Also, you can usually tell by the tone of a song whether it's something where the lyrics are about specific topics, or if it's something that doesn't really need to be translated to be enjoyed.
...sorry, no song to post at this time {..}. KF

Time for some German!
And here's the English version. From what I understand, it retains nearly all of it's original meaning.
