Red Eyes Kyo is actually the best...

Kenshin is so overrated...

Kenshin all the way. He's the most powerful of the three by far, and my favorite. My favorite anime main character ever.

I don't really mind reviving the really old thread.

But why did you have to revive it and vote for Kenshin? If you voted for Jin I wouldn't be complaining, but really... Kenshin over Jin?

And reading this many years on makes me realize that I never did get around to buying the Samurai Champloo box set. Oh well. KF

I really want the Samurai Champloo DVDs. I heard some rumors about a new collectors set being released soon. I got into it earlier this year... I think, when Adult Swim was replaying it. But, they never finished the run because their license expired. If that had been Futurama, they would have played it everyday until it expired, going through the entire series several times.

Blasphemy. Kenshin would never lose to Mitsurugi, nor would he lose to Jin, and Jubei would just get spanked. No one can match their skill against the Hitokiri Batousai, the sword baring master assassin, the legendary man slayer, Shinta Himura, the only man worthy of the title of Seijuro Hiko XIV and the wielder of the Ama Kakeru Ryu no Hirameki! Even Shishio fell to his sword, and Sanosuke's Futae no Kiwami, though clearly awesome, is just a joke in comparison. No competition.

Pfft, no blood?

Anyway, Jin would win, seriously. In all of Samarai Champloo you could tell that Jin was just doing whatever. He wasn't even trying in like, 99% of the series. In that 1% he did try, he was only putting forth a fraction of his energy. In the times he was defeated, it wasn't because he wasn't good enough, but he totally did it on purpose. Yeah, hes that badarse.

Wow, it's really weird to look at what I wrote nearly 4 years ago. O_o

My answer has actually changed since 4 years ago. I would actually go with Jin now simply because after watching a lot of Samurai Champloo a few years ago, he was a lot cooler than Kenshin. I still like Kenshin too, but I like Jin better.

Cool as Jin may be, Kenshin's skill is still far superior. >.O

I like Kenshin a lot more than Jin. Jin is cool and calm, but that's all he is. Kenshin can be calm and cool, but he's also got a goofy side to him. I actually prefer Mugen to Jin.

True.

No one mentioned in this topic can beat him, but there are plenty of characters out there who would own Kenshin. Hell, even some people in his own series are superior. Seijuro Hiko XIII was flat out stated by the creator to be almighty, and the most powerful character. Emotionless Soujiro was also superior to Kenshin. Kenshin only won that fight since Soujiro had a mental break down. Enishi is also on par with Kenshin, but it's debatable as to who's better.

Kenshin for sure.

Ninja Scroll almost made me vomit when I watched it. Not to mention it was horribly offensive.
