Because you, like 95% of the world, simply downloaded the japanese version, and I decided to patiently wait to legally own it. While I do believe in fansubbing when a series is butchered by a company >cough< 4kids >cough< , when I know that I will be able to get my hands on something in its undedited entirety I always make it a point to buy it.

Or you watch it then plan to buy it in the un-suck quality version ^_^ Just because some dled it, doesn't mean all of said people won't buy the real thing when we get it, its still rediculous how long they waited in bringing it over here...

did anyone reserve the game that was supposed to come out with Vincent as the main character? My friend got the offer when he reserved the movie, thought it was fake/ridiculous/etc. and now regrets it.

I didn't get the offer to reserve it because I bought my copy of Advent Children at Anime Central while I was waiting in Quinton Flynn's autograph line. xD

honestly, i wish i knew. all i'm getting is some hearsay, but I'm pretty sure it's coming out. They offered my friend a reservation, but he thought it was fake and then did research and regretted turning it down.

Nope, its fact, Dirge of Cerebus, a game set 3 years after the end of FF7, (One year after Advent Children), its a shooter with its main character being Vincint, currently set for a release sometime in August(speculation?/doubt it due to Squares faulty release structure)
