One Cold Night

So Seether's Shaun Morgan was really freaking ill for part of Seether's Karma and Effect tour, rather than giving up a la Axl Rose he decided that they show must go on. What was his solution? He decided to do acoustic shows, and this album "One Cold Night" is the end result of said acoustic shows. The sound on it is incredible, one of the best sounding live recordings I've heard, and the song selection is interesting. I've never really been a Seether fan. but this album shows the acoustic and melodic prowess of the band. The band handles the leap to acoustic very welll actually changing the arrangements for most of their songs and re-writing various parts. I might add that they bang out a real nice cover of a Pearl Jam song "Immortality."

Bottom line: this album will make you a Seether fan.

Oh cool! I am a fan of acoustic and I had no idea about this album, thanks for the information! Seether is alright in my book (some songs I do like some I don't particularly) and if this is anything like you say it is I believe I shall be much contented. =)
