Land of the Dead

Post by Chris »

Has anybody seen this yet? I'm sure a few of you have.

I really liked this movie but I think it's the weakest entry in Romero's "Dead" series. It is really hard to compete with movies like Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead(1978), & Day of the Dead. This movie is by no means a "masterpiece" but a good movie nonetheless.

I think the group I was with were the only ones to actually crack up at several points in this movie. I have been playing Doom III a lot lately so I've gotten good at guessing when things like to pop out...so I rarely jump in thriller movies. And watching the zombies was like watching someone with extreme ADD.. >.> But anything that makes me laugh is a decent movie in my book. :P
