Very little if it involved Madoka at all.Shiva Indis wrote:Homura for President 2016.

I would vote for her.
Because she'd go back in time and change my vote anyway.

Six episodes in. I like it a lot. But the opening sequence makes me feel gross.
Re: Puella Magi Madoka Magica is a good anime.
So is Walpurgisnacht Homura's witch form? Homura talks about how she is trapped in a maze. That would explain why Walpurgisnacht doesn't have a labyrinth. Homura criss-crossing through time is its own labyrinth. And right after Madoka addresses Walpurgisnacht about how she doesn't have to despair anymore, it cuts right to a scene of Homura talking to Madoka about the creation of the new universe.
Good anime. Starts out as one good thing and quickly becomes something much better.

A good theory, and one that has been considered, but Homura has a different witch form seen in video game tie-ins that is apparently considered cannon. Bits and pieces of background info suggest that Walpurgis Night is a fusion of multiple witches.

Re: Puella Magi Madoka Magica is a good anime.
I often theorize that Homura's multiple witches get pulled into Walpurgis Night because it's a conglomerate witch. It's highly possible that this is the case but Walpurgis Night is not 100% Homura, especially not when it's powerful enough to take out the witch that defeats it before Homura starts Groundhog Daying herself.
My theory about the Walpurgis Night is that Kuebey (QB) only cares about the power he gets from the transition of magical girls into witches and the collection of grief seeds after the fact. I theorize that QB has done this whole push magical girls to die or turn into witches until there are no magical girls left shtick countless times, each time having the devastation remaining drawn into the conglomerate that is the Walpurgis Night (WN). It's like a tidal wave, picking up momentum in QB's wake as he pursues his goal of power. It fits with what we know of QB, his greed for power is why he won't legitimately walk away from any magical girl and why he wants Madoka to contract with him so much. The WN is either an intentional construct of QB to get create an endless cycle of superwitches that he can harvest non-stop (as each Magical Girl (MG) that defeats the WN uses so much magic to defeat it that she too turns into a witch and since she was strong enough to defeat the WN, her witch is just as strong and requires another MG to defeat her with the same outcome) or unintentional side effect to QB's greed that the girls have to clean up after. Either way the Incubators come out on top until Homura and Madoka's wishes fix things.
Homura is the -Fatal Hopper- best.

Honestly, my least favorite part of the ending was that the Incubators are apparently still around doing their thing in a slightly altered capacity. They are the worst.
