Really hoping for them!

So far it does have two favorites Final Fantasy VII And Wild Arms. I went and pre-ordered one.

If it's anything like the SNES classic it will be easy to hack more games into. Too early to tell. I'm not a fan of the analog-less controllers.

The results are in, and save for potential hacking in of more games, nope!
Save for FF7 it's a pretty meh list IMO.

In terms of it being "classic" Playstation titles I feel the list is okay although it's not anything that would warrant me buying it. I still have most of those titles regardless.

The most surprising on the list for myself personally is Revelations Persona, although I'm certain the reason it was added is due to the series current popularity. Atlus changed a lot in that game for it's US release and most individuals who prefer the more authentic story experience play the PSP remake. Considering how popular the Persona series has become since then I find it a little strange that the version of the game that received so many changes from it's Japanese counterpart would be put in. Hopefully it's the original Japanese release with a translation.

I'm pretty glad to see Jumping Flash on there. Back in '95 I used to tell everyone how Jumping Flash was a real under the radar title that was enjoyable, and I feel not a lot of people believed me and dismissed it's cutesy-ness. For an early 3D title it had fairly good control and freedom for the player unlike some of the early gimmicky launch titles.

Ridge Racer 4 is a bit puzzling. The original title was extremely popular on the PS1 back in the day and advertised heavily. I feel like it's more of a "classic" than any later titles.

Yeah, I was kinda disappointed by the list released. At least it has Wild Arms and Final Fantasy VII. Still getting it though.

The only two games on there that I (a) might play and (b) don't have are Wild Arms and Persona, so it's a no go for me. If I ever want to relive my Cool Boarders 2 days, I can hook up my PS2 like anyone else.

(Having Arc convenient and ready to play might have done it for me.)

It's a shame this bombed so bad. It really could've been something special.
I'll take a potato chip... and EAT IT!
