Your stash (of video games)

Post by LuciaOne »

How about a video game stash photo thread? I just finally put most of mine in a bookshelf (not including my current gen stuff, PS2, GameCube, Xbox... and no DC either...).

But here's all the oldschool stuff, like Sega and PSX! except for a few
PS2, PSP, and DS games.... ignore those :D

http://www.alayna.net/pics/segalg.jpg

So... take pics of your video game stash and post them!!! =D

Oh, and YES, that RED paper cased Sega CD game is none other than the infamous
Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch Make Your Own Music Video Game.

I will when I get a new bookshelf. I can't even fit all my books in my big bookshelf anymore, so I might get another and put all my games in it too.

Do you not have an old NES or SNES? For shame. :P

And what is that to the right of Growlanser Deluxe? I assume it's an import?

Pfft, I was a SEGA GIRL! My sister had the NES (I got my Genesis when I was like, 6), and I never had a SNES.

That's Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga, G1... it's no import, but it's freakin' sweet. It came out in like, April or May of this year...

They did a deluxe box for it? Maybe some of these companies are following after WDs footsteps with these kickin' box sets.

All right; here's mine:

All that in the upper-right quarter of the shelf is Lunar stuff. Incidentally, my tiny DVD library is also in the lower-left. But I have all that matters: Firefly and Serenity. KF

Wow, four things really nice on that shelf. {^^}

It might not surprise you that I'm as big a browncoat as I am a Lunar fan.

Nope, Super Mario 64 DS and Mario Kart DS, plus the Japanese and US Lunar: Genesis / Dragon Song. Never got Trace Memory. ...and I'm hooked on Mario64 DS right now.

And yeah, the soundtrack is half the reason I got Ecco 2 for the Sega CD {^^}. Would you believe I picked it up for $4 in a bargain bin? KF

I love Kizyr's set up there. So simple, and I love the poor Pikachu that's caught between two menacing sets of DVDs on either side of it. ;)

My own gaming collection is not so tidy. I need a new bookshelf. My games are either on my sole existing bookshelf, stacked under my computer desk, or stacked beside the bookshelf. :| They don't really look displayable in any of their positions.

The Digital Devil Saga 1 boxed set isn't as elaborate as the WD sets though. It only includes the larger-sized box and a soundtrack, but on the other hand, it's a lot cheaper than a WD set. I think it only cost $5 more than a standard RPG. The main reason for the box (that I see anyway) is because DDS is a two-part storyline and the box makes for a spiffy way to house DDS1 and DDS2 in the same place. The box has the cover art for DDS1 on one side and DDS2 on the other.

Unfortunately, all of my items are boxed away. All that remains of my collection is what I have sitting on my shelf of PC games and 360 titles. Here's my PC games if that counts.

(Note: This is not all of them.)

Also, that DDS box is crazy rare now. I still have it with part 2.

I've actually been replaying it to go after the Demi-Fiend; hardest optional boss ever.

I'll see if I can contribute some stuff later, though my SMT collection dominates most of it. :P

I'd have to get all my stuff together because I have a lot, but I also sold a lot in the past so my collection would be even more massive. It shames me to say that I no longer have my Sega CD versions of Lunar and Lunar 2 because I gifted them to a friend along with my Sega CD over 10 years ago.

I have a lot of hard to find "collector's games" that are worth money, but if I ever sold them I'd want them back immediately just because I would want them back regardless of playing them or not. Of course the Sega Saturn is the home of most of these, both import and domestic. Man, I would have an enormous amount of Genesis games had I not sold so many when I was younger. Now I just have a handful from when I bought a Sega Nomad from someone and the mostly crappy games that person gave with the system.
