Any Boktai players/fans here?

Just to be curious, are there any fans of Boktai/ Shin Bokura no Taiyou around here? ^^ It's a game where you use sunlight to do certain kinds of stuff. (This game has a solar sensor, which senses Sun rays.)

I remember Boktai! I never played it myself, though.

The UV sensor was a brilliant touch, however. KF

I've always wanted to try it. Just never got around to it. I wonder if I can find it used.

'Used' as in pre-owned.
I'm a Boktai fan. Taiyo!

Boktai is great! It's like an all-ages cross of Metalgear and Castlevania. Although it sucks when you want to play it and the sun isn't out. You still can, you just have to get a sunlight loan, or tap into what you saved when there was sun. Bosses are rough with no sun. But it is getting pretty rare, try E-bay, it might help. The second one's getting pretty hard to find too. Having an accurate amount of in-game sunlight for the time of day is very cool! If you play at dawn or dusk you can slowly see the transition in the game.

My family has both. I like how they cross with MMBN5.

I think they're going to do it for both versions. There's no word on Boktai 3 for America yet, but there IS a Japanese Version for it. And it's already out.

Simple.

1) A Boktai Game
2) A Rockman Battle Network game
3) Two People to play
4) Wireless Adaptors
5) 2 GBAs, SPs, Whatever.

If you have the MMBN5: Double Team (I do), put American Boktai 2 or Japanese Boktai 3 into the GBA slot. (I think they might be the same game. It wouldn't be the first time American and Japanese numbers were off. *coughFFandEarthboundcough*)
