OK, so you all know who Will Wright is correct? If not, he is one of the founders of Maxis and the genius behind such games as SimCity and The Sims.

And just recently he has unveiled his newest creation, and it's called Spore. I can't even do the game justice by describing it to you, you need to watch this video so you can truly see what the game is, and what it is going to be.

It's the sixth video down, just register a fake name, email and so forth, then it lets you watch it (No confirmation emails). I recommend watching the whole video (It's about an hour) because he goes into some awesome detail about procedural coding, and automatically updating ecosystem. There is also a great deal of actual game footage too.

But if you choose to be impatient you can just go strait to the spore demo, and then skip around to all the game footage parts.

He didn't just unveil it. It was shown at the GDC in April (?) if this year. I've heard it's pretty awesome though and I'm looking forward to hearing more about it.
