I've been hearing complaints of no voice chat. Just SKYPE it. But in the minds of many, Nintendo's online just doesn't stack up to X-Box Live because you won't be hearing people call you a faggot while you play brawl.

I only got to play it for a few yesterday and I got to watch my nephews play it, but it looks pretty cool so far.

Played some of it. Maybe an hour or two yesterday. My bro and his friend played some too. We've unlocked 3 characters so far.

Yea I've unlocked most of the characters, just missing 3. Online play is fun, but kinda annoying. Get alot of errors using wifi and get disc. ; ;
Other than that Im in love with this game. ^^

Pfft, give me a pint or six of beer and I can show you a smashed brother. =P

Smash brothers is fun, but I have yet to play the newest one. Is it similar to the others, just more graphicy and more characters to choose?

I just managed to unlock the last three characters I was missing, two of which were a pain in my ass. Had to travel through half the level, and there were always little variables that tripped me up and made me lose, like bumping into a frappin bomb or something if the sort. Then, I had to travel all the way back and try again. Sheeesh. But, the deed has finally been done. Now I need to unlock the stage builder sets and get started creating my own unique settings. Hopefully it allows a lot of creative freedom.

For the most part. There's a lot to do though, which makes it a worthwhile purchase. Plus, online play, even though I likely won't even try it. I'm not that good, and don't feel like being laid to waste by Smash Bros. fanatics. Now Mario Kart Wii on the other hand... I'll definitely be going online with my Wii for that.

I'm not sure if i want Mario Kart Wii if blue shells are still in there. I won't play it online if snaking works, either. That pisses me off.

Everything I've read said snaking is gone from this one. Blue shells don't bother me so much though. Problem is, with a game like Mario Kart, I imagine someone'll figure out a way to cheat online.

I'm quite happy to hear that snaking is gone. I've never been able to figure out how to do it. Blue shells also don't bother me, since it doesn't take much skill to be able to use one; part of the fun of the Mario series of competitive games (Mario Kart, Mario Party, Smash Brothers, etc.) is the crazy items that can turn the tide of the game at any moment.

On the subject of cheating, yeah, it's annoying. I've only been hit by it once over WiFi, though, playing Tetris DS. There are obviously going to be a few people who go ahead and cheat online, but it's a pretty small percentage of the players.

Play with someone that likes saving blue shells for the last half of the final lap. It sucks butt.

I got it about a week and a half ago, and I'm honestly feeling like I sorta got swept up with the hype. It's okay, but I'm already starting to get bored with it. I'll keep it in case I have people over who want to play something together, since I don't have any other two player games, but I'm really wishing I'd gotten a different game.

The game rocks my socks! Unlocked all characters and have over 200 trophies! :-D

My wireless router sucks though, so I can't really play online. :-(
