Re: Final Fantasy XIV
I was upset that XIV was coming out so soon after XIII and was a online game like XI, i think if they want online games it should be a spin off instead part of the main series.
But i'm kind of interested in it, i currently don't have a way to play it, but i'll probably pick it up one day.

I'm definitely playing. I also got into the beta, and it's stunning. I'm going Lancer and then transitioning into Archer.

Re: Final Fantasy XIV
It's pretty obvious that FFXIV was in development simultaneously with XIII. I do wish they'd give online FF's their own branding, if only to simplify the numbering and sooth my collectionist urges, but oh well.
I was really looking forward to it, but I don't have time for anything resembling gaming right now, let alone an MMO. Also, I'd need to build a new computer to play it. Which I'm doing, but it's slow going with my current income.

Yea, I had to build a computer for this game. Ive been looking foward to it for awhile, well, since I quit FFXI.
Im gonna be going Gladiator, Miner, and Blacksmith I believe.

Re: Final Fantasy XIV
I might get the PS3 version when it releases, but my car just died on me so now I have to try and save money.
At least the PS3 version comes out later. My brother, sister, and brother-in-law all play the beta and really like it, so I'll probably join up on their server when, or rather if the time.

Re: Final Fantasy XIV
Not interested at all.

Re: Final Fantasy XIV
I wanna get it. I enjoyed FFXI. But I totally agree, that they should of made the online games separate from the main series. My mom won't be happy that I wanna play this since I already play Word of Warcraft right now. She hates the fact that you have to pay to play em.

Re: Final Fantasy XIV
Well, I built a new computer this weekend and bought the game.
WARNING! GAME IS A MASSIVE RESOURCES HOG!
I had a 3.4 Ghz Quad-Core processor, 4 GB RAM and ATI Radeon HD 5770 and it still didn't run smoothly in full screen (I had to run windowed at 720 to run smoothly).
Once I did the research to figure out how to overclock my processor to 3.8Ghz, THEN I could run smoothly at full screen.

Hm I'll have to check if my computy can handle it. If not I can always return to FFXI.

I know a few people that are getting it, but I can't afford it. I don't have the money nor interest.
