I'm currently playing Final Fantasy III (american version), and I'm enjoying (almost) every second of it... the bosses are actually challenging (unlike LUnar Dragon Song)
Still waiting for Zelda. I have the game but no Wii. I wish I had bought Elite Beat Agents instead. I also wish I hadn't sold my Gamecube before buying a Wii. Live and learn, I guess.
I wouldn't fret too much. It sounds like there's going to be weekly shipments of the Wii for a while now.
As for me, I hate to gloat while Werefrog just mentioned he can't play it, but yep, I'm playing Zelda. And it's fantastic! The reviews aren't kidding. This may be the best Zelda yet. It's a masterpiece.

It's no big deal. I don't have the time until after finals to start on it anyway.
I'd love to be playing the new Zelda.... but since my Wii comes to me in December, I am currently working on Final Fantasy XII... which isn't too bad thus far, but I am finding myself disliking the main character. Seems weak to me.

Still playing Zelda and loving every minute of it. It's seriously giving ALttP a big run for it's money. I also like how the game has a much deeper story than previous Zelda games.

As finals are dying down I'm starting to want a Wii again. It really doesn't help that the only games I brought to college this semester were music games and MegaMan. I mean, yeah, I enjoy those games, but sometimes I just need an RPG/Adventure game. I may try Alundra which I brought with me.

Haven't been doing any playing myself because I've been conceding the living room TV to my husband for FF 12, which he wanted to finish before we visit his family next week. I've been watching most of it, though, which for me counts almost as much as playing. We're about at the end and he's just wrapping up sidequests and levelling; we'll probably finish this weekend. To my surprise, it's actually been pretty enjoyable, with very decent voice acting and expressiveness. Though it's been kind of weird having these realistic characters in this political intrigue plot also going through these RPG cliches which kind of stick out from the atmosphere, and several of the costumes are totally bizarre.
I picked up a copy of Yggdra Union for the GBA yesterday. I'm not that far into it yet, but it's made quite a good first impression on me. I was quite a fan of Sting's earlier GBA RPG Riviera, and this (at least so far) seems to be of similarily high quality. Like Riviera, Yggdra Union seems to have been made with the philosophy of having the game's feature set be relatively simple, but then making sure that what is there is as well designed as possible. It's a design philosophy I happen to agree with, as I find that games with fewer but well designed features tend to be more balanced and strategic than games which just try to throw in as many features as possible. It's especially nice to play an SRPG that's so tightly designed in a time when bloated SRPGs seem to be the big fad.
I'm also still making my way through FFXII. I'm also liking it quite a bit, and up until now it had been quite a while since I've really enjoyed a Final Fantasy game. I had just about given up on the series entirely, but decided to give this one a chance since it promised to make (IMO much needed) major changes, and I'm glad I did. I'm usually wary of game systems that automate too much of the battles because I prefer to have a high degree of control, but I have to say the Gambit system works quite well. By allowing the player to design (and alter at will) a general strategy that covers the specific circumstances of the dungeon, it's not so much taking over decisions for the player as it is shifting when those decisions are made. In the process, it makes minor battles much less tedious since you don't have to select "Fight" over and over again. And of course the option to manually input commands is always there for when a more flexible strategy is needed. Now while I would tend to think that having fewer battles in game but making each battle more meaningful would be an even better solution to the problem of tedious battles in RPGs, the Gambit system is still a fine solution.

Zelda Twilight Princess for Wii, also Elite Beat Agents, NBA 2K7 and Wii Sports in streaks. I've almost completed Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance which I will probably finish when I finish or go on a break from playing Zelda.
I have piles of unplayed and even unopened games which I may or may not play. Among those most likely to be played are Trauma Center: Second Opinion, Castlevania: Potrait of Ruin, among many many many others.
