It's been kind of quiet so I decided to post something. Normally I just read everyone elses posts. So...... I just got my didgeridoo in the mail today. And i'm totally excited about it. Very random I know.

So, my question to this very random post is, what is a didgeridoo?

It's this really awesome Aboriginal Australian instrument that makes a long twanging sound. You've heard it, you just don't know it. KF

They are fairly awesome. Someone brought one in to elementary school years ago, and I've always thought it was a nice instrument. Pretty too, but I still prefer bag pipes.

Twanging sound? Makes me recall commercials for something to deal with Australia (Restaurant, Fosters Beer, something.)

It's a big tube thing. Very big. Or rather, long. It's impressive that a mail service was able to deliver one!

Heh, I bet shipping and handleing must have cost a fortune.

Shipping wasn't really to expensive only 10 dollars. Less than what I expected. I'm pretty sure you've heard a digeridoo on a beer commercial... Fosters or something like that.

It's really a cool instrument. Supposedly it's the first known woodwind instrument.
