Wouldn't Lucia and Alex be out of it? Whichever of Nall or Luna loses this runoff would be third, so Lucia and Alex would only be competing for fourth, as Alex has already been defeated by Luna and Nall.
No, cause this is still technically the semi-final. It never gave Lucia a chance to run for third place. You could drop Alex, perhaps, since he was to get knocked out of the three-way, but not Lucia.
And doesn't it take the fun out of it to get people who couldn't care less to participate? I wasn't following the campaigning, but most of what was brought up would only make sense to Lunar fans anyway, and stuffing the ballot box seems to miss the point.
I agree, but just about everyone was dong it (I followed a lot of links) so I let it slide. I do see your point though. But there's no official rules or anything, so it's not like I can disqualify a character or something.
Besides, this is the internet, I would think that if there was a rule to prevent outsiders from voting, then G1 would have to do the poll via registered posters to keep outsiders from posting. That, or have no poll at all, and to me the poll has been a lot of fun.
As for the fact that Luna is winning...

Uh, did you guys forget to campaign for Nall or something? Cause Luna's 8 minutes away from winning, and by a rather decent margin. They were tied earlier in the day.

Yeah, I don't think the percentages on the poll work to well. It's kind of funny. Lucia and Alex have 16 votes (Nall has like 13) and it's showing Lucia with 35% and Alex with 37%. That doesn't make much sense. I don't think I'll use this poll script next time around. Too many bugs and not enough features to work with.

3rd Place is 5 days long, so you've got plenty of time. Final round will be a week.
I must say I saw something quite strange. Just finished voting for 3rd place and I voted for Lucia. Then as I scrolled over to see how many had voted for who since Lucia was behind Alex (34% to 35%) I saw that Lucia had 1-2 more votes than Alex and was 1% behind him in votes. I'm sure it's a glitch that'll correct itself, just funny to see.

I did not know until today that you could see the number of votes by mousing over the bars.
So right now it says Lucia with 34% (24/69), Nall with 30% (21/69), and Alex with 36% (24/69). 24/69 = .347826, 21/69 = .304348. My guess would be that the first one or two are truncated, rather than rounded, and then the third is just getting what's left, rather than calculating all three separately. This would probably be to avoid having rounding errors resulting in the percentages adding up to less or more than 100. A three-way tie might thus be shown as 33%/33%/34% rather than even. Sometimes the decimal system is more trouble than it's worth.
There's been times in past matches where one character was ahead of another by like 3 votes, and it would still show 50% to 50%. It's really quirky, but I didn't so much notice it until the final bracket, due to most matches being one-sided through most of the tournament.
Gak! The tie runoffs continue! I decided to give Nall one more vote as he worked so hard this campaign. Though I'd not be sad if Alex managed to take it, as long as Lucia doesn't beat them I'm happy. ^^
